You know what would have made this race more interesting is if instead of the average finish determining where they enter the pits, how about it determine where they start the last segment.
com'on you sissies, post up your picks.
Unfortunately, All-Star race does not count towards my season-long pool at work.Hmmm, Jimmie Johnson I guess.
For once it seemed genuine to me.Kurt's positive attitude seems manufactured, but it's good to see him have some success.

I can't believe I sat here all night for this outcome
If they double up next weekend maybe they will get a double bonus. If Rick Hendrick has a soul, the 48 crew is about to get $ PAID $
How did Jimmie win? Nascar fracked up the avg. finish tally.. even with a great pit stop, he wouldn't have jumped 10 cars if he came in 11 like he should have. I'm not hating on JJ (even though I don't like him) but Nascar doesn't know simple math..
He is showing his team that he believes in them as much as himself. That can go a long way.I hope so...I definitely like Kurt. A positive attitude can go a long way!

that gave him an overall of 6.5 instead of the medias 13th..and then with the smoking pit he got the front row. yeah that makes better senseHe finished 15th, 5th, 3rd and 3rd...He lined up just where he was supposed to. Fox screwed up their math somehow.
Exactly....no way that averages 11thHe finished 15th, 5th, 3rd and 3rd...He lined up just where he was supposed to. Fox screwed up their math somehow.
NASCAR will probably scrap the average finish next year since summing numbers and dividing by four is too hard for their broadcasters.Um yes they do. Fox got it wrong. Jimmie's finishes were 15,5,3,3 for an average of 6.5. That put him 4th.

Making everyone pit with 10 to go sucks. Just make them do at least 1 green flag pit somewhere in the night. If they have an option to pit before the last segment the top 4-6 would probably stay out and rest would get tires. Just think if good tires from back were driving up through the field with 10 to go it would be more interesting.after 4 segments.....they should line up accordin ta avrg finish a' 1st 4 .
screw last pit stop !
it wasn't a good nite for the yota's, kyle was a threat until the last couple of segments. Every body is pissed because Kurt bush almost won the thing, we were all pulling for him..well a bunch of us were anywayDidn't watch it, doesn't sound like I missed a whole helluva lot.
I guess no matter how they tweak the rules, JJ will still come out on top. The dude's just that good.it wasn't a good nite for the yota's, kyle was a threat until the last couple of segments. The audio might surface somewhere Congrats to your driver on the win.Kurt definitely had a chance but he got screwed by his last pit stop, whereas the 48 had a blazing 11 second 4-tire change. Would've loved to have heard Kurt's radio after that one lol.

I wonder if Johnson's win tonight will count towards The Chase.
