I watched the race when I got home. Can't really find anything worth talking about but one thing. Why did Kenseth get so many boos in his intro? I wasn't expecting that at all.

How did Jimmie win? Nascar fracked up the avg. finish tally.. even with a great pit stop, he wouldn't have jumped 10 cars if he came in 11 like he should have. I'm not hating on JJ (even though I don't like him) but Nascar doesn't know simple math..

15+5+3+3=26 divided by 4 is 6.5 so he entered the pits in 4th - exactly where he should have.

Average Finish after the four segments of the Sprint All-Star Race:at the end of the 4th segment, drivers wnt on to pit road in order of aveage of all 4 segments
1) #78-Kurt Busch(2), 1st, 4th, 2nd, 1st = 8, 2.0 average
2) #18-Kyle Busch(4), 2, 1, 1, 4 = 8, 2.0 ave
3) #5-Kasey Kahne(9), 5, 6, 6, 2 = 19, 4.75 ave
4) #48-Jimmie Johnson(18), 15, 5, 3, 3 = 26, 6.5 ave
5) #22-Joey Logano(5), 9, 7, 5, 7 = 28, 7.0 ave
6) #15-Clint Bowyer(6), 3, 2, 13, 10 = 28, 7.0 ave
7) #99-Carl Edwards(1), 4, 3, 15, 9 = 31, 7.75 ave
8) #88-Dale Earnhardt Jr.(15), 10, 10, 4, 11 = 35, 8.75 ave
9) #11-Denny Hamlin(7), 8, 9, 7, 14 = 38, 9.5 ave
10) #24-Jeff Gordon(10), 7, 11, 10, 12 = 40, 10.0 ave
11) #1-Jamie McMurray(20), 11, 8, 8, 13 = 40, 10.0 ave
12) #29-Kevin Harvick(19), 18, 12, 9, 6 = 45, 11.25 ave
13) #20-Matt Kenseth(16), 17, 15, 11, 5 = 48, 12.0
14) #39-Ryan Newman(11), 12, 14, 12, 15 = 53, 13.25 ave
15) #16-Greg Biffle(3), 6, 13, 14, 21 = 54, 13.5 ave
16) #17-Ricky Stenhouse Jr.(21), 16, 18, 17, 8 = 59, 14.75 ave
17) #14-Tony Stewart(13), 13, 16, 18, 18 = 65, 16.25 ave

19) #9-Marcos Ambrose(17), 19, 17, 19, 16 = 71, 17.75 ave
20) #34-David Ragan(14), 20, 20, 20, 20 = 80, 20.0 ave
21) #10-Danica Patrick(22), 21, 21, 21, 19 = 82 = 20.5 ave
22) #2-Brad Keselowski(12), out, transmission

Only Kenseth fans are happy with his winning ways this year and I doubt that he'll ever win most popular driver.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he is a TRAITOR !?!?!?

Did Jimmie come in the pits 5th? I read that somewhere and cant remember if he did. e should have come in 11th I think. I thought passing 10 cars seemed a little over the top..... hmmm

I distinctly remember them showing that Jimmie had worse than 10th average finish and yet here it is plain as day, he comes in the pits 4th? WTF NASCAR?!?!!

EDIT: So I looked it up and JJ did have 4th best average... maybe Im remembering from after segment 3 or something because I remember them showing the top 10 averages and he wasn't in it. DW even mentioned it.

FOX said he was supposed to go in 11th, he went in 4th - which was correct with his 6.5 average. The only better averages were 2.0 for both of the Busch brothers and Kahne with a 4.75. Next year FOX should hire a junior high algebra teacher to show them how it's done on the air.

Yeah I edited my post after finding that... just stupid how they just seemed like they didn't know what was going on. They being NASCAR or Fox or whoever. A lot of people that wouldn't take the time to look into it are saying its rigged and things like that and I bet NASCAR will hear that a lot for the next little bit.

I'll bet the JJ haters blew up on Twitter.

You know what would have made this race more interesting is if instead of the average finish determining where they enter the pits, how about it determine where they start the last segment.
Terrible idea. pit stops are part of racing, always have been and always should be.

it would kill racing if the cars had to exit pit road in the order they came in.

I think the boos might have been from Ford people would be my best guess, or drunks. I think every driver got booed though.

Don't worry Mike. The rules will be different next year and you wont need to learn how to use a calculator.

Calculator????? 26 divided by 4 is 6 1/2 How difficult can that be:eek:

I think more drivers got booed then cheered. I knew that Kyle would get booed, but I didn't realize that Jimmie, Joey, and Brad would get so many boos. But boos must not really mean to much because Danica got a lot of boos and yet she still was popular enough to win the fan vote. And we all know that Kyle thrives on boos. I think it just makes him run harder.

but I didn't realize that Jimmie, Joey, and Brad would get so many boos.

To be honest, I would of expected Jimmie Johnson to have gotten more boos. I think two years without a championship and all this hooliganism between Stewart, Logano, Hamlin, Keselowski and Danica has taken the heat off old Five-Time.

I loved Kyle Busch's driver intro. He's such a douche. He's becoming one of my new favorites in a WWF villain sort of way.
