There are people here who don't like me, don't like some of what I post and don't like the way I post it. They make remarks like the one you made. The difference is that they have cause. You don't.
This place will survive nicely without either of us.
So what did I do to you? **** this place.
Shes gonna win it of course. in the TaxACT ford!
I'm a fan. Simple as that.MY Gosh you are hopeless

Are you familiar with the operating statements and cash flow summaries of other private companies generating annual revenues of $1,000,000,000 or more?
The ranks of race car owners past and contain a plethora of liars, cheats, miscreants, racists and on and on and on.I have no reason to look any private company balance sheets besides mine, public yes. Anyway, I wouldn't believe anyone that was convicted of tax fraud and treated for alcohol abuse.
SHR has a grand total of ONE car fully funded this season, the 4. Somehow they need to fill 20 races for the 14, 16 for the 41, and now 25 for the 10. No way they remain a four car operation. Sorry Clint, sorry Danica. This team drops a car or two sooner rather than later.

if you lived on Canada's left coast, you'd understand. What's wrong with that!?
2010-2011 ring a bell? darn bruinsif you lived on Canada's left coast, you'd understand.
Nucks fan?if you lived on Canada's left coast, you'd understand.
True but being the ony femae in the show may give her a bit of an advantage over other bottom 20 drivers in some sponsors eyes. I expect she'll pic up 2 or 3 new sponsors to fund a race or 2 each, Haus will cover for a few. Think she'll be ok this year, next year might be a different story though.Danica is nowhere near marketable as she was
she's a 20-25th place finisher.
she hardly gets talked about now
I'm pretty sure that SHR's contractual commitment to Danica would be conditional upon the sponsor performing as agreed. I believe that would have been the case in the Go Daddy era and even more likely with Nature's Bakery.
I'm sure SHR has been scrambling to find alternatives at least since the December 19 letter, if not before. The fact that Nature's Bakery was their best available deal after some months of searching... well that says the sponsorship landscape is a tough environment.
Tony and Gene are not going to act in a knee-jerk way, IMO. I wonder what Ford thinks about this saga?
Aunty is a sarcastic soul.
I'm probably echoing others same thoughts but I'm not reading thru 4 pages of jibberish.
When NB signed on with SHR, I had serious doubts they would be able to honor their contract, as a pretty small company. What, a year later, here we are.
This isn't about Danica and her lack of performance at all IMO. This is definitely on NB and SHR for not seeing the writing on the wall.
How do you know they didn't?! How many companies have a check for 15 million to put on a NASCAR team? Danica was always imo ran because I think with go daddy it was probably a cash cow. Why not run a car that is fully funded plus an extra 5-7 million extra premium for being Danica. But take away that funding and now it's an expense, it's no longer exciting running a 25th place car out of your pocket anymoreAs someone about as far removed from the situation as can be it was very easy to see the potential problems and apparently SHR saw them but decided to throw caution to the wind. What I don't understand is that seeing they knew the sponsorship was blowing up 6 months ago why were they not working on a replacement?
dont forget SHR is fielding a car in the lower series this yr too
Wouldn't it be cool if they put her in that car for a few races? I just paid the 3 bucks for in-car radio. Can't wait for the Clash and the upcoming season.
and that is a family deal too. I once worked for a company that the owner had a rich dad who all they had to do was call and say we are 47 grand short this month. He would promptly send the check and the lost money was made up for. The thinking was this all would be temporary and the company was "growing" and that it was only for a while. The problem is the company never learned that it had to make money from its founding. It was started knowing it didn't have to sink or swim. This is a very important thing for a company. The problem in my mind is the company has gene and his money to bail things out. It started with kurt busch being sponsored outright. The thinking there was kurt was good enough to win races and probably more. things change real quick when only one car is fully funded and the rest are looking for more sponsorship. I am still surprised that taking on clint bowyer didn't include also moving over his suite of sponsors. When deals are made like this it normally includes sponsorship too. Instead and I site the example above SHR figured oh we will sort out the details later. Ie gene will figure it out. which begs the question if the company was structured differently this wouldn't have happened in the first place.dont forget SHR is fielding a car in the lower series this yr too
