Nope. Every winner since 2005 is a chase champion. Every winner before was a nascar winston cup champion

You'de know a champ is a champ if u were. Any champ any year... earned it... The same way Red Byron did in 1949. The same way Joey will in 2014 :D

What's the point? Is that you don't want anyone to like you and you'll be banned from the board? That seems to be the goal.

Show up sometimes in the race thread when your boy isn't winning and don't lie about having something else to do. Sounds fairweather to me.

It just gets old man. Nobody wants to interact with you because you won't act like you have any sense.
You could be a great member that people like to talk to but not with the current attitude you have. Seems kinda self destructive. I hope your in real life relationships don't suffer from the same thing they do here.

Eventually, you'll be on here making threads only you can see. Sounds like awesome fun to me....
 
one thing about this format, there's no driver already wrapping the championship up before the Homestead race. been a many years we knew who was champion before the the last race even started. on the other hand there's no way a driver should be able to win the championship without a win and just a couple of top 5's even if that driver happens to be Newman, tho it would be something if he did win the whole thing.

Say what you want.. thats fine.. You're entitled to ur opinion.... Just as Im entitled to mine... if I want to brag about Joey dominating the series I will... this thread has all been great imo... then u come along with all this crap... we were having fun before you got here lol

you didn't ruin anything, there are one's on here that are obsessed and bring in their driver wank into every thread..If their driver does well or not well, their personality reflects that. Strange, but true it colors their world.

This thread had nothing to do with drivers. It was about THE CHASE and the FORMAT and the implications it has.

Oh and for your information, Gordon did have a good race yesterday. He just had a ****** restart. AND to my knowledge he is one of the 8th as of today so the fuk are you on about?

The fact that a driver can literally win 35 races and then **** the bed at Homestead and not be champion is what's wrong with the format. But it is what it is.

Hopefully it gets a little nasty. Ryan Newman, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Matt Kenseth demolition derby for the championship. Probably not what NASCAR wanted.
 
i'm sure when it's over and we have a champions, Nascar will say it was a success, and looking into making it better.

I'm going to say they will make no changes to how the Champion is determined for the Chase. I should hurry up and make that my 2015's Bold Prediction. :D

Surely , if Newman or Hamlin (4th and 5th), wins the Championship , there will be one heck of an outcry . Wouldn't Nascar have to react?

I don't think they'd have to. Everyone knows the rules for this going in. Both of them made the Chase according to the rules and are able to advance throughout the Chase just like any of the other drivers. Just like my driver. If they win, they win.

There will be an outcry in this forum for whomever wins, their already crying and we haven't even got started yet.(BTW Danica makes too much money and has a small chest) Might get a bit of harping from a couple of media "experts". What Nascar needs is another spin gate. I would say that we would get an all new chase for next year if that happens.

Homestead may provide us with something much more solid than "spin gate"
I have to wonder how creative they can really get.

WHo knows... What I do know is the final run to the checkered may be the most adrenaline filled laps NASCAR has ever seen. I look forward to it regardless of who it is.
