So what do you all really think of Kurt? Do you still despise him?

I don't care for it.. he shouldn't be saying the team is bad and all that cause you don't want to disrespect like he did with Roger.. but like his brother Kyle, Kurt wants to win every race and that in itself is not a bad thing.
 
Good thread Lisa . Been wondering the same thing . I think his driving skills speak for themselves . Folks can be really quick to criticize ,but have short memories when drivers perform in the top ten. (Kinda like Logano ) :D

Kurt's been driving like a man possessed, Ted. I kinda wish he was staying with Furniture Row next year.

I can't count the times I've thought, "Wow, how the hell can he do that", watching Kurt. It was really crazy watching him drive into 3 on the bottom at Fontana @ 210 mph :eek:
 
Kurt isn't light on ability, balls, or determination. His people skills, however, could use a little polishing. Sponsors don't mind spending money (write-off) but they expect a positive return.

I think we all would have liked to see if that team could have been a contender next year.
 
I was standing next to Kurt once and I held up my hand (for a high-five) and said, "Go get 'em today, Kurt", and he looked away and walked off. I still appreciate him for his ability to drive a racecar.
 
Never hated him. I always liked him even in the 97 Roush Ford. Always reminded me of a young Gordon. His temper only got the best of him because he's a fiery competitor. The best I could compare it to is having a stellar defense on the soccer pitch & the offense just can't keep it on the other side of the field. It's horribly annoying & I don't blame him for exploding. The media was just in his face 24/7 & that made it more annoying I'm glad he's back in professional form & has a good ride in 2014. Hope he takes the trophy again soon.

I'll miss them both when they are all calm and sedate, but they could be the biggest asses in the sport.

Dig your heels in. Don't give up. Good things don't come easy, a good struggle makes victory all that much more satisfying.

See, that hurts me. I don't know how long ago that was, but I am hoping he has changed or grown since then. That is my prayer, at least.

If he would make it in The Chase, I would be so happy. If he doesn't, well he gave it one hell of a ride with that little once car team.
