You either get to speed in he last loop entering, or first loop exiting. I guess JJ has maximumized one or the other.

The strangest pick is the #2. Why not pick the box right behind your teammate? Now he has Dale 'which box' Jr in front and Bobby 'I'll just wreck him' Labonte behind him.

I'm guessing that he figures that Bobby will be a lap down soon enough and he'll basically have two boxes to play with. It'll work out to his advantage as the day goes on.

I still can't figure out why Labonte kept ramming Brad until he put him in the wall, and why Brad wasn't mad about it. All he said was "I don't blame him. I was slow and in the way". o_O

Brad just got rammed by Kurt and was trying to get out of the way. Labonte showed no patience and wrecked him. It's no as if Labonte was going anywhere.
 
Then again, my comment didn't make any sense. Bobby's team hadn't picked yet. So, I'll chalk it up to stupidity on behalf of the #2's team. ;) Then again, it should work out for them so I guess it could be called dumb luck. :cool:

Labonte may be dumb luck, but not taking advantage of a teammate's location is dumb. I watch these crew guys play games all the time. I can guarantee someone is standing at the back outside corner of Jr's pit with a broom everytime Brad leaves his box after Jr goes. The old "you ain't cutting through my box" routine.

Can't wait .I'm wonderin about those folks who had Hamlin in the pool and got rewarded with a pole run . Those of us who took Jimmy ,not so much . Gonna be interesting if Hamlin could pull out a top ten finish and Jimmy doesn't .That would be a complete reversal of fortunes.
 
Im watching RaceDay on Speed Channel, wearing my Team GoDaddy crew jersey, drinking a Coke Zero waiting for the race at 2:00 in Dover. What a great day!

If you're taking about the Yahoo game, you get qualifying points earned by any of your eight drivers. If you are talking about the Chase game, there are no qualifying points to be earned. It is based solely on the NASCAR awarded points.

A really good crowd though. I don't understand how those upper-level seats in the turns don't sell out though -- that's the best ticket in the house at Dover.
