Stewart-Haas Racing

This was turning into another thread solely about Danica. I tried to move most of those posts to the Danica thread.
I realize that she is an integral part of SHR, but please take your discussion about her to that thread.

So in a SHR thread must ignore Danica. So focus can only be about Tony, Kevin, and Kurt. Got it.

Has a Kenzie even won a East race yet? Funny she is getting the K & N buzz while others that have won dont get a mention.

Didn't you get the memo, we overhype all female drivers on these forums

No. But the posts had nothing really to do with Danica in relation to SHR. If the post is in that context, no problem.

The moved posts were solely about slamming Danica's record, problems on the track ---- yadda, yadda, yadda. If you want to slam her, do so in the pinned thread.

I, personally, would like Patrick to remembered as a great driver, who happens to a woman. Not as an ok female driver.

This would be great for the sport but the trouble is she has a long, long way before people will consider her a good, let alone a GREAT stock car driver. Frankly, I just think its tough for open wheel drivers to succeed in Cup cars. Montoya, Carpantier, Speed, Francheti, etc.. all got hyped but never backed it up.

you can say that again. Franchitti was so bad it hurt to watch him.

SHR has to be feeling the pinch from all those wrecked cars. They had to know this maybe they negotiated a better salary with her knowing she would wreck alot of cars. here is the deal, lets take your average 25 yr old dude off the street thats a good driver on the street has some nerve and is willing to learn. I put my money on them outrunning danica after they have as much training behind the wheel as she does. depending on the track its not that hard to run within say a seco

lets get real, women our different then men. they can not play with men physically end of story. i'm sure that danica is the best female racer, but she is never going to be the best of the best racing with men.

They are doing well in the straight line stuff where it is more reflexes, than endurance. There is a gal running pretty fast on a salt flat bike, and the drags. Some of the lower regions of sports cars they are doing ok, so I think it is possible, Cup cars, despite cool suits and power steering, still have hot spots, and pull a lot of "G"s

No comment real opinions are not allowed.

yea that 6 second and 3 hours is a big difference.

Finally ... an honest anti Danica poster . Right on brother . Tell it like it is . !!!!!!

It's completely unfair to include Montoya with those names. He never lit the world on fire but he did win 2 cup races, 9 poles, and made the chase in 2009, along with a nationwide win at Mexico City. Danica and the others have never sniffed a cup win or won in the minor league divisions. He didn't live up to the hype (partly due to equipment) but he had a decent career

He did get a few RC wins and within the last year or so he did improve on the ovals but for about 3-4 years there, he brought out more cautions than Mikey Waltrip. I do give him props for exposing Harvick and making him look like a complete ***** on national tv

I'm honestly stoked with the Josh Berry news. He's going to be great in that #4.

SHR is putting together a very solid line-up.

#4: Josh Berry - I think he can contend for wins next year.
#10: ??? Who knows who will be in that car, I hope it's Corey Lajoie.
#14: Chase Briscoe - Awesome driver who keeps improving.
#41: Ryan Preece - Off to a rough start but has shown flashes. Talent is not the issue with him.
