Superstar Racing Experience

It's a superstar racing experience it's not supposed to be tied to your conception of what a racecar is it's a whole new thing.
They are all interconnected....otherwise why the concept car?

True. If I had to put it in a catagory it's a short track car. Their are many other designs, but this one is for the SRX series. Somebody else has a different conception? Start your own series and build a car how ya want it built. I'm a bit more interested in who is going to race and hoping the races are fun to watch.

Looks like a Camaro to my untrained eye.
There is a 5 states or five something company that builds composite bodies for ARCA and I think Xfinity. It's possible something like that could be used. No use re inventing the wheel, just a tweak here and there to set it apart

that car will look great making laps at North Wilkesboro and Rockingham... I kid.. but it sure does look sexy, I hope Ray goes with that look

are drivers going to be able to get their own sponsors for this series or it's going to be like IROC, no sponsporship on cars?

Just an observation on my part, nothing more or less.

I like the car design, it's sharp. Including the wing. More important will be how it races.

That said, I'm kinda like @LewTheShoe. I find it difficult to take seriously racing series in which the teams aren't independent entities from the series owners. There is more short track racing that I'm interested in than I can keep up with. Still, given the heavy hitters involved, I can see this being a fun diversion.

They have been able to stay pretty close to their wish list

Though no official details have been announced yet, Stewart and Evernham already have a wish list of drivers. Evernham’s wish list includes the likes of Scott Dixon, Tony Kanaan, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Paul Tracy, but the pair is also eyeing folks in the grassroots ranks who have earned the opportunity to race with the greatest.

So expect guys with big win numbers in their career?
