Leave the window open when you go to bed.
It's 28 outside and a little chili inside.
Thought about chili, but settled on taco soup.
76 and sunshine today no Chili.
Christmas Eve Breakfast, 4 eggs over easy, over rice with FRIED BOLOGNA! The minions and I are good to go.
No picture, we're in a campground. My Christmas Eve breakfast is hashbrowns with onions topped with a small country fried steak left over from dinner topped with 3 over easy fresh yard eggs and a piece of wheat toast.
Christmas eve Supper, this is two of the 38 Wild Quail from my quail hunt at Southern Pines Plantation in Sylvester Ga on the afternnon of the 17th and the morning of the 18th of December. I cooked 8 for my wife and I. Dredge in milk and eggs then seasoned with Louisiana seasoned flour. Cooked in Peanut oil at 350 degrees for 5 minutes, MMM MMM good.
Christmas supper, Hog Rotten Taters (that Au Gratin Potatoes for my Northern Friends ), fresh pole beans, Crescent rolls and Prime Rib plus a Red Velvet Cake Cup Cake for desert! MMM MMM Good.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
MMM MMM , my new years day tradition for good luck Black eyed peas, hog jowl and ham hocks slow cooked 12 hours, over rice with fresh hot corn bread.
Thai chilis; for real heat.
Added a handful to a chicken jalfrezi dish. The second day is worse but worth it. Wow.
Don’t ever waste your money on pizza chain wings. They’re all terrible. I’ve tried every chain nearby and the one off stores. Baked wings are junk.
Yep on both counts.
I wasted money last night. Ate two of the wings and tossed the rest.
Ate the pizza though.
The best that I've ever had that we didn't cook ourselves were at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo NY. The birthplace of Buffalo Wings. Did you ever get the sauces from there?
I did. Pretty tasty stuff.
Some of the best that I've ever had. I think that I'll order some more.
I bought the variety set.
Sea scallops with white wine sauce on the menu for lunch. Just couldn't resist them at the store yesterday. Along with the lobster tails.
For dinner yesterday we had a dish that you posted on here with lump back crab meat. We substituted the crab with fresh large shrimp. It was delicious, as expected.
I had sea scallops for dinner. Wine sauce sounds good (never had it), I'll have to look into how to make a wine sauce.
I frequently will mix in shrimp with the crab meat. Delish.
The wife say's that'll be what I get next time.
Been a while.
Burgers for dinner tonight.
Damn, that made my jaws hurt.
Yes it required a knife
Damn thing casts a shadow!!!
What is the Onion Ribbon campaign in aid of?
Eat MORE brisket ! ! !
Someone on the Food channel said char is not a seasoning.
Just curious @TexasRaceLady , have you ever eaten at "Hard-Eight Barbeque" joint in Stevensville Texas? You go along a line while they are cooking all the items on the outside under a roof on the grills and you pick what you want and pay by the pound when you get inside.
Place has been packed the three times I have been there and the food was excellent.
No, haven't been there. Stephenville is a little far from where I live.
I'm a devotee of Kruez in Lockhart.
And even in my little town is a place called Spyke's. It's great. Also, Cooper's in Llano.
With a little help from my hub checker.....

Damn that's a small pot of chili.
It is kind of funny how perspective is changed with camera location as compared to the subject. The picture makes it look like it was a cup of chili. Trust me, it was anything but. It fed the three of us with enough leftovers for us to sit down together for a few more meals. If you look over the top of that pot, there's a full size spatula along with a teaspoon sitting on a large paper plate.
