Road courses and short tracks.
That's appropriate, since I usually don't look at it before Fridays when practice and qualifying speeds are posted.January 3rd is the launch date.

Ah, okay. Last week I had read that it was to launch on the first.January 3rd is the launch date.
Why are they launching the new site on the 3rd?
Probably because they had the weekend off.
I'll probably fall asleep by 10pm and get up @ 4am like usual. The real question is: Does dpk stay awake 'til 12:00 am tonight or turn in late this afternoon and then rise at the 11th hour?

I used to like 'Track Smack' but for whatever reason I lost interest in it a few years ago. I don't find the Fantasy column to be a very good predictor.Sounds about like me the past few months. Other than practice start times I really don't use Nascar.com much anymore.

After all, is there a better source for the latest info besides Jayski?
Yes, Twitter is by far the most current news feed. Following only Marty Smith and Bob Pockrass keep you more current than Jayski or any other site.
On race day, we made it easy to follow the on-track action by giving you plenty of options ... a live leaderboard to follow your favorite drivers, our RaceView and RaceBuddy products and two brand new mobile apps to create a new and improved second screen experience for NASCAR fans.
dpk gets his wish.
Where'd u find that? From the promo video, it looks like driver cameras and video have gone mobile.

This is all that I can find on their site about it. Says it's coming soon.Their search feature needs a little work. I punched in "mobile apps" in the search bar. Ignoring the double text, this is what I got.
Did you mean " mobile laps " ? found 12 results for “mobile apps”
Below that was this message. "ARTICLES displaying 1 - 3 of 5 for “mobile apps”, and 3 are displayed . If you click on "read all articles" you get a fourth.
Apparently, this is the only app, which apears to be an electronic "You are here" Mall app for Daytona. Whoopie! What a bunch of crap. The video shows race buddy video on a phone.
For the apps it sure looks/reads that way but for the online subscription they are still using the word virtual video which to me means that damn animation screen. Informative but lacking. I want to see the actual camera feed. I know it can be done so let's have it.They sure hid the good stuff real well. They still aren't specific about live video. The live broadcast feature implies it's available, along with the alternate camera angles.
I reads like we'll have the same as Sprint only it'll cost us.Hopefully us Verizon subscribers on Android will have access to everything. I don't mind paying if it's good.

Jelly Bean for me and working fine on 4G.I just hope they don't hold back some exclusive features that I want. We shall see.
I just accessed NASCAR.com from my phone and it was very sluggish on both 4G and Wi-Fi. Is it possibly because my phone is still on Gingerbread or is it sluggish for those on ICS and Jelly Bean as well?
