#29 Buddy Howard won four track championships at GPS 1977-1980. The narrow front street tires were used for transport on the open trailor.

#17 Jerry Hughes Camaro. He probably would have won the GPS 1976 championship but he got took out during a caution during the last points paying race of the season.

21 looks like a dirt car with those tires ..nice either way. It has a well prepared look all over it.
I agree it looks like it is set up for dirt, but I think he won in the same car on the asphalt at Hickory.

I saw David Pearson race several times but never on dirt. They say he was great on dirt too, I dont think he had a weakness.
 
Judging by this thread fans like the throwback, has anyone else seen where Chase Elliott has said that the throwback thing is overdone?
