the good thing about working at a card shop is i get first dibs on cards and i got every sigle one of randle els rookies and autos and memborilas pieces that has came throught the shop yet

Anybody think this is gonna be a fuel milage race and not a horsepower race? I remember in the spring race Kenseth came very close to getting a lap ahead of the field on fuel milage
 
paul stats mean very little to fans evidently, jeff has 61 wins and has won at every type of track in cup but still alot of (average nascar fans * even some people on this board) wont admit he has anytype of talent (its just the car and everham). A couple of posters tonigtht put jeff and dale jr together because of both being in the lime light, theres a bit of diffrence there.


Dale jr has alot of fans that are (typical ignorant nascar fans) but I think every driver has some or most drivers anyway. I think dale has alot more talent then micheal.

Also I saw some people say they only like drivers who had to work hard to get into cup racing... you must not dislike many drivers. Who didn't work hard to get into cup racing???
 
About the conspiracy thing, I dont think nascar sets things up jr just had the best car and most know that. I don't think no one is faulting jr for winning, thats how racing is its not just the driver its the car driver and pit crew combined. Its just he seems to have more success at RP tracks which in my opinion is more about the car then driver ability.Its also the fact that the media and some jr fans like to bloat about the fact hes great at those tracks like its all skill that he won.

I think jr is a good driver but I wont and can't give him the credit of being a great driver until he finishes a season being in the top 5 in points. Being consistant at all tracks, either way I also don't think its right to put micheal and dale jr in the same boat. I think dale jr has alot more skill then micheal has.

This was really supposed to be a Top 10 list of Talladega. So when you people feel like posting your top 10 list please do. And once again I thiank you deeply for making me read this many posts about Jr who i dont really give a damn about.
 
Newmanfan, you will see that some posts turn into other subjects quite regularly around here. Some posts that you will want to read about, some you don't.

As I posted before, some threads will get off subject. That is the nature of the beast with this place. Especially when something about Jr comes up....somebody is gonna slam him and somebody will defend him. Its an ongoing circle that will never end.

Now talking about towns and really off the walls subjects, like which football team do you root for, that's differnent. Go to the chat board for that or use PM's.

And this goes for everyone (unless Paul vetos me). The next time someone uses harsh language, consider yourself banned for at least three days. There is no reason someone should have to type the f-bomb. There are folks who get offended by that language. People have said something to me before about some of the posts with the language in them.

If you have a problem with anybody on the is board, other members, me, other mods, or even Paul, PM a mod or Paul and let them know.

This is a great place to come and talk NASCAR and about whatever else you want to. Just make sure that its in the right place and in the right frame of mind.

Just reading the posts doesn't compare to the shear insanity of last night, trying to post and then being a page behind and trying to post again. Oh that should happen more often.
