Yea, Paul seems to get a word in on every post, and then someone comes in with an argument. Then the fun begins.
 
Let's put it this way.

This forum is for people who want to talk about racing,

NOT those who want to bash drivers

NOT those who want to bash other people

NOT those who say things to get other people upset

and NOT for those who will not give people another chance to say what they think.


I've argued with Paul and other people in here MANY times, and i'm still here. The people Paul has banned, he has banned for good reason. It takes a lot of guts to do what Paul has to do to keep this forum so everyone can enjoy posting without being belittled for what driver they like.

I'm behind you 100% Paul. If you say someone has got to go, you've got my support.
 
DEIFan, hopefully some of the people that thought you deserved the ban will speak up. Somehow I doubt it.

38, you don't have to stay away from anyone. You can jump in the mix just as much as anyone else does. Just watch what you say. If you have a problem with Paul, contact a moderator. If you have a problem with me or another mod, contact Paul........

The way I see it, if you're deliberately trying to rile people up, spam, troll, or in any other way offend the sensibilities of most sensible people, then you deserve to get banned.

I thought the crack on Ward sounded familiar. Why do people try so hard to get back into a place they have been escorted out of, then start the same crap that got them shown the door in the first place all over again?
 
I've been in here a week, and yes the arguing comes with running a forum like this. There is no way around it. I have seen very mature arguments between people, and what it seems like rpmallen is still here and still arguing, and hopefully I'll be around for awhile and arguing.
 
Aswome Bill was a good example for the spaming but they just took all of his post away

I thought that's what we do in here in the first place. If you can't argue what is a forum for. Just for someone to post something and say yes I agree with you no matter what?

I give a call to the moderators too. I used to help out an online fan club, and we had people that would come in all the time like these people. It ended up becoming a big mess and I left b/c I people every time we'd remove someone, there'd be a big arguement like it was some sort of controversy.

That is why I applaud what you do in here. I may disagree with you, but i know that's not going to get me booted. You've done a good job keeping out people that are in here for trouble.

95% of all race drivers in the country must win local races and track championships long before they can think about racing in any major series (let alone The Busch Series)

It took Tony over 10 years just to get a test in a major racing series (IRL) and Tony was winning everything in sight!

Jr one day just jumps into a Busch car and gets his chance!

I just enjoy watching the underdogs that had to struggle to get into Winston Cup do well!

Is there anything wrong with that??????

actually TS....Jr spent time in other series as well....he raced legends cars here in Charlotte...and ran the late model stock for a few years in the NC area

all three of the Earnhardts raced late model stock

Jr was #3 Kelly was #8 and Kerry was #38 i believe.......they were all sponsered by Mom n Pops
 
I pull for the underdogs too, ts1, but you don't hear me going off on Jr. fans b/c they like someone that has basically been handed their ride? And him being handed his ride or not, you still have to respect him as a racer. You not only disrespect him, you openly disrespect his fans. That's not cool.

Jr is a racer, if he couldn't do it, he wouldn't be in the car. So maybe he has been luckier than some of the other drivers out there, and he still has A LOT to learn. I do like Jr, but he is far from winning a championship let alone even being a contender for it.

Somehow the timezone on the server got switched about 2 hours. Had to go in and fix it. :)
