Truck race considered at Eldora

I know there is water at the hook at the big truck island side. It won't have a hose on the end of it. Most truck stops have water at the island though.

Thanks for the heads up. I take it that is something that anyone can use? Like I said, I really never had had to stop anywhere to do this. Every place that I've ever 'dry camped' at has always had a spigot to fill from. My RV holds about 110 gal plus. It's just not worth filling up before I leave and hauling all of that extra weight the entire distance.
 
I would guess so. Many J's have water on the car/pickup side and are set up so you can get a pretty large gas rig in there. They are probably talking about not having overnight parking for R.V.s. I haven't seen one where you couldn't get a R.V. rig in to fuel up. You might google earth it and see.

Sorry, I guess I should have been more clear. I was talking water, not fuel. My bad.

Coming up on two-week countdown to #MudsummerClassic @EldoraSpeedway. Take day off. Call boss and say "Can't come in - I feel like dirt."
 
My last leg is a 3 hour run DP, I'm thinking about filling up before I leave Seville Ohio, but I called this Flying J and they said, sure we could use the island spigots to take on water.

Now that is one heck of a Truck race name. At least there are several sponsors that want on board. That's not a bad thing. I can't wait to hear them have to announce this ever time on their rejoin.

I'm taking an armchair vacation with Johali.

I've got a construction crew here doing wonderful things to the house. New gutters, new paint job, new pergola cover for the back deck. Ceiling repairs in the house and guest bath repair to come later.

Well TRL me you and the wife had a good driving day, VA, W VA, MD, PA, NJ, and NY all in the bag and we are in Florida NY, going to the Countries largest outlet mall, a couple of wineries and a few other goodies tomorrow. We leave Friday morning for Loudon and the races. The torture to me :D continues.

Oh, Johali, try to keep up your strength during this unbearable torture you're suffering. ;)

Wish I was with you --- it's still 100° on my porch.

3 sections of damaged siding pulled out and replaced. The man doing this broke a water faucet --- but it turned out to be a good thing. In fixing it, he found a slow water leak I didn't know I had. Got it fixed. All is well.
Pergola has been completed. They've started cutting in around doors/windows in prep for painting.
 
Sounds good, when does it go on the market?
 
Oh, the property is spoken for already. The son and daughter of a good friend have already said they want it. They, and their 3 kids plus their families all want to build homes --- a family compound so to speak.

All this work going on is mainly repairs that my husband didn't have time to do. The pergola over the porch was my wish.

Shhhhhhh!!!!! my wife might read this and realize there are people out there besides me that can fix stuff!;)
 
Arrived at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway at 11:30 am, NY, CT, MA and NH in the bag. We are all set up and going to the track for qualifying. Damn this is miserable work. :D

I think Vickers won because the entire crowd I could see was cheering him on and he had all of that hot air as a tail wind, the crowd went nuts including me and it was good to see.
 
NH, VT, NY in the bag, just arrived at the Niagara Falls Campground for 3 days of sightseeing, oh woe is me, being forced to do this.
 
This just in .....a whole lotta hot air moving towards El Dora.:D Don't be buyin no Dillon stetson.
 
I wear a Panama Jack straw hat, thank you very much.
