I'll cut Fox some slack (for once) on this one. They were probably caught as flat-footed as the rest of us by this change, and haven't figured out how to apply their usually heavy-handed graphics approach yet.

The length of the 2nd and 3rd segments is artificially reduced. Why not just NOT count those laps? How hard is that?

NASCAR, if you're going to inflict stages on Trucks and X, realize that their races are too short for three stages. Cut them back to two, with the break around 40%.

The problem isn't counting caution laps. The problem is counting laps between segments.
