Weather Check-In

Had a nasty thunderstorm come through yesterday around 5 pm. High winds, monsoon like rain and lightning strikes all over. Flooded roads and trees down. Only lasted about half an hour and in that time the temp dropped from 93 to 71.
68 right now, kinda chilly.:)
 
About 83º right now, pretty nice. Supposed to get to 86º today, and only about 57% humidity so it should be a nice day. Was a real nice night last night up in the Appalachians at Winchester VA Speedway. Well, once the sun went down.
 
Any day I work without a sweat band and wear shorts is a day in heaven. Gorgeous outside. Dew point hit a high of 45. Can't beat that.
 
It was 102* at 11:30AM this morning and the high at DFW Airport reached 106* around 6pm for our official high temperature for the day. It was hotter in a few surrounding cities tho'. :( It's after 10PM and it's still near 100* outside!! Who opened the door to hell?? Thankfully most of my work day is spent behind a desk, but I do have to get outside. Ugh!!
 
Nice here yesterday and today, low 70's, low humidity, sunny. High temps returning this weekend.
 
A little warmer today than yesterday, but still nice. Right now it is 83 degrees.
 
I went out to cook some sausage on the grill and almost didn't have to turn it on to cook it.
 
Still beautiful here, right around 83º. Supposed to be around 100º this weekend though.
 
Just read that Southside Speedway in Richmond is postponing Friday night's races until next Friday because of the temperatures. Pussies.:D

Can you image how hot it would be in those cars?
 
Going to 88 today, 90+ everyday until next the middle of next week. Looking to buy another used computer and small TV to put in my man cave when I'm working on my railroad.
It's only 75 right now with humidity at 55%, getting nasty uncomfortable. Dogs been in the pool twice already, might join her next time!
 
It's supposed to be a high of 93 or so today. My son has a landscaping job to do in a few hours. Fortunately, he had football camp in even warmer weather so he should be able to handle the heat pretty well.
 
80 degrees at 8:03am EST. Forecast is calling for 100-105 degrees with a 110-115 degree heat index.

Air conditioning is a great thing.
