Xfinity RACE thread --- Darlington

He'll also be remembered for his hilarious signature b!tch move of parking in another driver's pit stall after an incident and failing to intimidate anyone ever.
I'm hoping someone with nothing to lose pulls that crap on Harvick one day, 'stalling' in the #4 pit, ... during a green-flag pit cycle.

Hit everything but the pace car, and still has a lot to learn,

Please, I really don't want to see another Byron 2018 if he jumps into the 95 or whatever.

when Chastain drives a decent piece of equipment which most of the detractors who follow the series 's loosely apparently aren't aware of he does pretty well. Those of us who follow the sport fairly closely have been aware that Chastain gets much more out of his equipment he is in than is reasonably expected. The record doesn't show the skill and Chastain showed once again what he is capable of, Harvick showed what an over inflated ego can do to a driver.

2013 driving a Kez truck in 14 starts. 2 poles, 4 top 5's, and 7 top tens @ 20 years old.

What is hard to swallow is how do you ride somebodies door when you are as high up as you can get. I guess some believe that. If Chastain was trying to pass Harvick on the high side it might make sense. What's funny after all these years Harvick doesn't know what happens when you get close to a car on the high side what happens to the lower car. And somehow getting sucked around was the other guys fault.

Christopher Bell has never raced at Darlington just where ever the trucks race. It's hard to remember this is his first year in the Xfinity series with 4 wins

My mine is weak, but I seem to remember a kid winning his first start at the track.

Let me clarify first- I like Ross Chastain and I was pulling for him to win. Now with that being said Harvick had already started to stalk the bottom a few laps earlier in the race trying to figure the 42 out. If you go back and watch, the 98 got a nice run on the 42 and was INSIDE of him going thru the corner BEFORE they got to the 40. Basically the 98 had executed a nice pick on the 42 but the 42 Turned down and stuck them 3 wide, not the 98. I dont blame the 42 for that because the 40 was so slow he would have to had to completely roll out and he would have dropped back to 3rd, however by making that move he had to move down on the 98's door and as everybody knows (or should know) doing that is gonna get the inside guy loose and thats exactly what happened. This isnt a "cup guy vs nice guy trying to get a break thing" its just the facts of racing like that especially at Darlington because its so narrow. When I was spotting there we would preach quick moves to pass because a side by side corner especially in 1 and 2 wasnt gonna turn out very good. The problem I had was the 42 losing his cool and intentionally rolling down the track and catching the 98 in the right rear. Everybody is caught up in the emotion of the underdog vs the veteran but Chastain had everything to do with what happened in that corner. So, hope he learned something from that and he wins next time out, I will be pulling for him again.

I was traveling yesterday and missed the race. :(

What's with Harvick stopping in the 42's pit stall and yelling at his crew? Lol seriously? And I don't think this is the first time he's done that.....

Geez, you're just beating up on your own guy tonight.
No I’m not. He’s there to race...not fight. Harvick knows it and picks on those guys. Like a bully...typical wuss bully

Remember when Kurt and Martin were competitive with a FRR Chevrolet?

2013-15 they had the best RCR car in the field point blank. That was the problem, they had partnered with the wrong Chevy organization at the time. Also, Kurt's '13 season is underrated to me he really was great that year and that catapulted FRR into true relevance.

A good driver can win in a not so great car.

Watch the you tube In car Rodney Childers tweeted! Chastain clearly came down and took Harvick out! He’s just lucky Harvick has kids now, he would have gotten his ass whupped!

Is Ross Chastain likely to have an impact on Harvick’s playoff efforts? Or does Chastain have a clandestine group of Cup drivers plotting diabolical retaliation for Harvick’s efforts to clip Ross’s non-existent Xfin Championship possibilities?
Harvick said he has no talent so lets assume this no talent makes a mistake at the final race and he collects Harvick. What good has Harvick's sarcastic mouth done him???
