Not necessarily underperformed, but just didn't win a whole lot with KBM. Byron's run through the trucks and Xfinity series will make things harder for young drivers IMHO. Gragson come the half-way point of the year will figure it out.

If you want to get technical, Richard Petty doesn't even have the most wins in all NASCAR sanctioned competition, that honor would actually go to Richie Evans, it's a shame he never ran in Cup though

I'll say it again, I have no problems with Cup guys occassionally moonlighting in the lower series, what I have a problem with is them running in the races for their Cup team in quality equipment, and ROFLstomping less known drivers in lesser equipment and stinking up the show every week like what Kyle Busch used to do
