Rushbrook: “Team Building” Experience for Ford NASCAR Drivers
http://sportscar365.com/imsa/ctscc/rushbrook-team-building-experience-for-ford-nascar-drivers/

Rushbrook said he sees Ford’s “future in NASCAR” with Briscoe, Custer, Cindric and Majeski, making the program all the more important in the development of the drivers on and off the track.

“With team building, I want them to feel like brothers so that when they’re racing in Cup in a couple of years, they’re looking out for each other,” he said.

“Even if one is driving for Roush Fenway, one for Stewart-Haas or Penske, they’re all driving for Ford and they all feel a connection to each other.

“I think that’s a longer-term investment for that.”

Austin Cendric gets Penske cars from here on out, he should come up in the standings pretty quick after driving the Roush junk. Briscoe is pretty much screwed. He gets five rides with SHR and the rest is Roush for his 17 races..

Xfinity quals red flagged for inspections...
Before the red flag for moisture, there was a red flag for inspections. Now, the red flag for moisture is on. It is vey convenient.

What's the difference between the '17 Ford that Custer is running and the '18 Fords?

Also, Custer/Briscoe/Cindric/Majeski all in the same race is interesting.

Second Practice:
Ryan Reed wrecked...again, Reddick is terrible, two spins and a brush of the wall but he is fast

NASCAR errs in issuing penalty to Daniel Hemric after Xfinity race
By Dustin LongApr 15, 2018, 11:39 AM EDT

BRISTOL, Tenn. – NASCAR announced that it erred in announcing the penalty to Daniel Hemric after Saturday’s Xfinity race and that Hemric will be eligible for the Dash 4 Cash $100,000 bonus next week at Richmond Raceway.

With Hemric again eligible, Brandon Jones is out. Jones had been added when it was announced Saturday that Hemric was ineligible for the bonus.

More to come

Here is where confusion happened as far as Nascar saying Hemric would be penalized. The Xfinity rule (top) requires both sides to be off (or one if by a certain amount). In Cup, one side off in rear toe is penalty. Hemric car only off a minimal amount on one side so no penalty.pic.twitter.com/IPakxGhKEj
