#repavessuck I actually liked old Daytona. When the cars were moving all over the place and bouncing around. Since they repaved it I lost even more enthusiasm about these races.

That is exactly why I like it. The swoosh as you call it is what is called a bullet in the advertising world, you can spot it in a crowd of cars

Dega is what stock cars should be. fast. and if im being really honest, dangerous. Racing should have an element of danger. now before im flamed, I dont mean lets run with no seat belts and no safer barriers. But damn dont mess up speedway racing.

I do agree with the danger aspect. I think there's a fine line when it comes to this discussion. I know people were drawn to the toughness of certain drivers back in the day.

I think some people (perhaps a large portion) that participate in motorsports wouldn't do so if there wasn't an element of danger. Like I said, there's a very fine line.

You can get an adrenaline rush without any possibility of danger. Heck, I used to get them after a great pinball game.

You have to master that 'Fight or Flight' response. In this case, I recommend Flight every time.
