2018 Spring/Summer Weather Thread

It's rough dude, especially when you have to work in it. Today it was more humid, I hydrate in the morning before work, but I sweat that out by 9am, I probably drink a gallon of water easy and a couple of Gatorades at work. Usually we get a few boughts of it, but it's been like this for about 6 weeks. It drains you, last night I went to bed at 8pm. ...tonight could be earlier.
I’ve been drinking Body Armor lately. Lots of vitamins, electrolytes, a bit of coconut water. Seems to help. I start drinking it in the morning before work.
Supposed to be 108 today but only 17% humidity.

Yeh that's the way it was in Colorado Springs, hot low humidity, but you had to be careful of the sun, it was stronger because of the 6100 ft altitude.

71 right now and the high for today is forecast to be 75, but the humidity is 94%

It was actually pretty nice today, got up to the mid 70s, but that's about it. This is the kind of Summer weather I can get used to.

89° at 8 pm last night. High yesterday was 95, heat index 100 and something. Miserable
More in store for today. At 8 am, 80°.88% humidity this morning

A little warm in my neck of the woods.

That's nothing, was 100 degrees in Hartford yesterday with heat index of 107, Windsor hit 102 when I passed through on the way home from work. Already 84 with 72 % humidity.

The normal late summer weather has set in for the past few weeks and foreseeable future. Lows mid 70s, highs around 90 with humidity at 87 to 99 %. Rain forecast at 40 to 80% every day.

It's still full-on SUMMER around here. No real rain since July 4 and no let up in the 100+ temps, either.
Big oak trees are giving up the ghost. Even the cactus is giving up and dying.

Damn.

@Johali did the tropical wave effect you and yours very much?
Not much. A few limbs down, a little flooding in the lower lying areas, power out in some areas, but that's about it. Our generator hasn't had to kick on yet. It's more like a really bad winter cold front without the cold part. It's supposed to be past us by late afternoon. The wife went back to work this morning.

Glad to hear it.

We got a little rain Monday, maybe 1 inch total, but, it was overcast and cooler so I got after the palm trees and trimmed them up! :D
Most of the heavy rain was about 30 miles south and West of us.

So much for past us by late afternoon. It's still down pouring here and more is on the way.
