Pat I don't dislike a lot of people, but Teresa is absolutely despicable. This situation is quite sickening.

She has a case. When I was in NC back in 2011, I saw a billboard selling Earnhardt Collection homes. I thought Teresa licensed the name out. I googled and turns out it was Kerry. Why didn't he call it the Kerry Earnhardt collection because it probably wasn't going to sell as well as the Earnhardt collection. Dan Marino is huge in south florida. In the early 00's a pizza place opened and was named Marino's in Dolphin's colors. Dan gave them a chance to change their name or be taken to court. They changed their name a few months later. The tattoo artist for Jr Smith sued Nba2k for using his tattoo design without his authorization. If you have money or in school I highly suggest sport law. Great class.

He doesn't have to call it the Kerry Earnhardt Collection, Earnhardt Collection works fine and is ok to do so, but it can't be trademarked.
Kerry Earnhardt can't trademark Earnhardt Collection but can still use the name.

Even an introductory class in business law can be an entertaining eye-opener.

Ironically I took both while at Temple as an undergrad many moons ago. Business Law was a requirement for my major while i took "Law and Ethics in Sports and Recreation" as an elective.

A few of the discussions I remember from those classes have had "some" relevancy for my side gig covering Patriot League football.
