Can't really call those "long runs" at Bristol but I like that multi-lap pace out of the #4.

Interesting stuff. 95 and 20 very intriguing....11 is starting to get consistent....18 has been chasing it, and is gaining. Adjustments tonight might tell the tale. 19 improved as well. Then, it will rain tomorrow morning, and everything will hit reset again. What a challenging weekend! Awesome.

Is this the week someone I actually like wins?

This was just posted on youtube. Awesome video!! Still an amazing accident/moment in racing history that happened 29 years ago to the day, 4/7/90...

Rain is gonna hit the track within the hour and continue into the early afternoon but we definitely have a window to get the race in after 2pm or 3pm or 4pm.

Had some curiosity after I came back from race today. Made some calls, this is what I got. Johnson City Courtyard =$319, but are now taking walk-ins at $105. Hampton Inn= $308. But will be back down to $133 on Monday. Reason he gave was “it’s race weekend.” Pisses me off!!!

Alas, this sort of thing has been going on for years. Daytona motels once had 7-day minimum, elevated prices (some may now). Motels not alone. Gas, restaurant prices up too. Called "supply & demand". Most of us have another word for it. #nascar

Fontana area hotels might bump prices a bit, but nothing noticeable. Just sayin'......

“It’s supply and demand”

What a ****** croc of ****. Price gouging the hell out of everything within a 20 mile radius of the track, meanwhile attendance is just over 35k for a venue that holds over 160k. BMS has lost over 46% of admission revenue since 2009.

Prices should be dropping based on the low demand and sky high supply.

What a ******* croc of sh!t. Price gouging the hell out of everything within a 20 mile radius of the track, meanwhile attendance is just over 35k for a venue that holds over 160k.

not really, the gouging would extend farther out.

Hotel pricing is exactly why I'll go back to Martinsville before I go back to Bristol.

$120 for a Hampton Inn, 15 min from Martinsville

OR

$300 for a Super 8, 35 min from Bristol

Yeah, that's a no-brainer

Kevin is now going to be pissed off and when he gets pissed off he usually ends up winning and whooping the field into submission.:)

could be a blessing for us cause the more Nascar throws at Kevin the more it pisses him off and goes all balls to the wall and lays a whooping on everyone.

A pass through penalty is a blessing? That's probably a race killer.
