dale jr download

I enjoyed the interview with David Hobbs, I laughed out loud many times. I thought he was one of the better race announcers. One thing that impressed me was how the drivers accepted him when he had to interview them, not as a foreigner but as a fellow driver. Hobb's success probably helped get drivers a chance in the announcers booth (he predicted DW would be a good announcer when he was a young driver).
The story he told about Cale Yarborough imitating the sound of the engine when he raced was hilarious.

Great last show. Dale interviewed Kyle while they sat in chairs right beside the track. A really good, revealing interview with Kyle.
And then Dale and Mike Davis reviewed the year's guests --- some really good highlights.

Sorry it was the last show of the year. Can't wait for next year.

Dale Jr Download -- Jr not backing Noah Gragson?

What happened? I missed the X race, but saw some replays of a late race bump-and-run sorta move. Not too shocking -- and Noah's done it before.

It is not that he is not backing Gregson, it is that he is not in favor of that kind of

racing. Noah, blatantly turned right and spun a guy out. Numerous camera angles caught the action, Jr. was explaining that he will not tolerate this in the future.

Not buying either that Kyle had to “work hard” for that truck win. Easily took the lead a couple times and then pulled away to at least 7 seconds every time. It sounded more of a MW take then a Jr take honestly

Big difference in moving someone and spinning someone out.

Not really. Smith stayed on Tag's bumper to do the deed -- the reason Tag didn't spin was because of Tag's driving, not because Regan was being nice.

Jr is just another Situational-ethics driver and owner. Bottom-line: Smith was willing to move Tag to his advantage as was Noah.

Threw his driver under the bus publicly. I guess he comes from the Kyle Busch school of racing owners.

I just listened to it, and I didn't think he threw him under the bus at all. I don't know what Dale told Noah in private, but in the same situation I doubt my comments would have been so mild. That was a chicken sh** move and it needed to be called out.

Well, I will just say we agree to disagree. :D

Wrong.

Especially with Jr piling on other nonsense like worrying about upsetting "Paw-Paw" Childress. And the other dude talking about "optics of our company""Myatt's dad is a colleague of yours (Jr)".

Grow a pair Jr -- quit punching down, and stick up for your developing driver. Your boy cringe Regan Smith took out Tag in a "chickensh**" move that NASCAR allows and promotes. It works both ways and Noah is still searching for his driving style with contact in this instance that wasn't any worse -- that's the way the game is played. Let them settle it on the track between drivers.

Noah Gragson is a breath of fresh air and committed no more sins than your average hypocrite Cup driver. Jr needs to shut his pie hole in front of the camera instead of throwing shade at one of his own. Take his discussions about Noah behind closed doors, instead of throwing this crap out and letting others know Noah's hands are now tied --

Jr: "I've done it"

"gave him advice on what he did wrong"
"kid made a bad choice"
"mistake"
"couldn't have handled that worse"
"terrible job"
"don't know what I would even say to Myatt or Marty" (Myiatt)"

Now that is chickens**...

Myatt made a move down to block and Noah made a move up. Get over it.

Oh yeah, and Austin is part of the Childress Gang, so...

I think it would have been a lot MORE hypocritical for Jr. to NOT talk about it. AND, Jr. was right. Even if the move was justified, it was poorly executed and easily could have resulted in a race ruining penalty and or getting his ass beat by the RCR guys. I like Gragson and think he has a TON of upside potential, but that doesn't mean he walks on water. And, Jr. was also right about owning the situation, not giving some BS answer about it being a racing deal. The kid screwed up. If he's smart, he'll learn from it. If not, he'll likely find himself stuffed into a wall at a critical moment, like during the playoffs.

Myatt moved down to block. No NASCAR driver is obligated to allow that -- and NASCAR lets the drivers handle it.

Jr let his Social media side dominate his owner side -- he should've been neutral on his DJD and talk to Gragson behind closed doors.

You know better.

Besides being a car owner, jr. is a media figure, and in that job he often has to call out the activities of other drivers, so to have any credibility at all, he has treat his own drivers the same as he treats everybody else's drivers. I would expect nothing different from Jeff Gordon. As a side note, this is one of the big reasons I am so against people with direct ties to race teams being announcers in the first freaking place, but nobody wants to hear that.

He's going to have to go a bit to out do the James Finch one. :D

For a guy that was a part of the sport for so many years, I didn't really know that much about James Finch. I knew he was a straight shooter and kind of unconventional, but I had no idea how interesting and funny he was. Instead of all the stupid crap the pre-race shows have subjected us to over the years, they should have been interviewing Finch. :)

For those of you who poo poo my views on the RTA, listen to the first few minutes of this week's show and hear Jr. espouse VERY SIMILAR views to my own about it. Basically, he has no use for it. Also, he mentions that in response to the good reviews on the low downforce short track package, Cole Pearn tweeted that NASCAR wanted that package LAST YEAR, but the RTA pitched a fit.

When he started, I thought he was going to say he reached a point where he didn't care. He found his way around it. It struck me when he said You don't see cars running on the streets with just one lugnut, that they have unabashedly taken the Stock out of NASCAR.

The Schrader episode is very good maybe the best one yet.The message Jr gives him at the end is well done It’ll take several more shows to get Kenny’s stories finished.

I absolutely teared up after Jr read that letter to Kenny.

You can see his face change and even after 19 years and what Kenny probably saw was just shocking to him. Also, shame to those who blamed Schrader for the accident as well.
