I was at the Reading Rainbow Daytona RC **** show. I feel your pain my man. Took me hours to dry myself off from the 2 rain drops that hit me.

If NASCAR doesn't want guys having huge leads at the ends of these things, stop going to them. It's not a Chase Elliott thing, it's an every damn time thing. Just so happens he's leading a lot of these races late.

Yeah, idk what SMI has going on for cell service.

I wish I knew more, but think of all of the RF in the area. Scanners, phones, bluetooth, spotters, etc.

There is so much interference, I'm not sure 5G is even the answer. I mean its to the point where it affects our own products... Verizon is supposed to be working on that situation, but I'm not 100% sure at this time. EMI or electromagnetic interference is a thing.

I think each track is responsible for wifi. Think it changed when sprint left. Could be wrong

Yeah, there was a lot of time today where I couldn’t hear or understand whatever was coming over the scanner. Yet when m watching on TV with my phone playing scanner it's crystal clear.

Fair. That said, I went from full bars a quarter mile from the track to a completely useless phone once inside track.

I think it’s okay. Why speak if you know you’re not in the mood and liable to say something that comes off as wrong or stupid afterwards?
 
I’m at ACS and LVMS every year. Decent coverage tailgating and even inside the gates before the race. Basically zero or very spotty coverage once the race starts.

EMI and/or RFI is a part of it. It's radaition from these products that causes issues.

No BS, we had an issue at the Rolex 24 with products not programing. However, in a fixed location, w/o as much outside interference, scanners and such programmed with ease. Fixed location like a hotel room w/o the insane amounts of RFI or EMI.

I wish we had an answer for it all, but there is no true answer for it atm.

It wasn't that long ago the conspiricy theorists were saying that the chase teams were getting all of the faster stuff and the non chasers were told not to race hard the cars that were in the chase.

To be fair, the Roval is awesome to see live but only for about 25% of the tickets that are possibly sold. If you're not high up in turn 1 oval area, then screw you.

I’m upset too but Larson left so many points on the table this year throughout the regular season and even last round. I do think if he got through to the Round Of 8, he’d been racing in Phoenix for the cup as I would wager alot he’d have won Vegas or Miami. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda

If Chase doesn't win Dega, I 100% in my heart think NASCAR lets today play out organically versus drama caution for cardboard.
 
To put things in perspective though, less than a mile from the Brutom Smith Blvd exit, we came upon a crash that was scary af. Mustange rear ended an Escalade and burned big time. People on the shoulder seemed calm, and I pray that nobody burned. Scared me big time.
