Gordon is always in the top 3 at Daytona! He knows how to drive when the pressure is on. Best driving I have seen for a long time from 9th to 2nd to finishing 3rd.

That was the best Daytona 500 I've seen in a very long time. Awesome job by Jr and HMS. Kudos to Denny for doing so well without a spotter.

Unfortunately not recently.
In his last 12 trips to Daytona (both 500 and 400) his average finish at Daytona is 23.3.
I hate plate racing. Neither of my guys could win tonight. I sure as hell don't mind seeing Jr get it. Dale Jr knows something about plate racing.

Kyle can't win the big one in Daytona but sure can feast on lower competition in the truck/nationwide series. I guess he should have asked for that trophy while leading during the rain delay. Do they hand out awards for leading for such a long rain delay? Kyle probably just blamed someone for not having such an award.

IDK, At least Hamlin knew which way to run the track, more than I can say for Matt and Kyle.
I'm anxious to see how racy this car is at non-plate tracks. Fontana has been great since they shortened it from 500 miles. I'm looking forward to Vegas, also.
