Now that's a damn shame.Bluebonnets depend on Dec./Jan. rains --- we didn't have any. I've checked my yard and find very few plants compared to last year. Afraid this season
is pretty much lost.

Yes. Last year was a great year. My yard was full of bluebonnets. Now that's a damn shame.
Under a Winter Weather Advisory here -- chance of freezing drizzle.
32* right now and probably not much higher for the rest of the day. A fairly stiff breeze out of the North doesn't help.
97? I'd settle for 37.It has been crap weather here the last 10 days and it's summer! Been muggy tho. But a lot of rain.
My Mom is here from Vancouver wanting to see her new great grandchild in Perth , Western Australia.
After looking at commercial fares to get her there as I don't have any leave sorted as this was spur of the moment...they are way to expensive so I booked us tickets through work....I only have my 3 day weekend but I'm gonna go with my mom and leave her there for a week or ten days.
The temp is supposed to be 97 tomoro.
Same here. Every day that it's tolerable.opened all the windows to let the wind blow thru.
Same here but in the high 70s.DAMMIT!!! DAMMIT!!! DAMMIT!!! Another day with temperatures in the low eighties, sunny, beautiful blue skies with large white puffy, cotton like clouds making shapes to test the imagination. Just another day in paradise.
My wife said "Now that's gonna be a heartbreaker".Here is the new edition to our family.and why I just travelled with my mom to Perth, Western Australia. His mom is Japanese and the father (my nephew) is our regular white mix.....but he turned out very cute. His name is Kaito.

I was hearing on the radio this morning that the fruit and produce folks in CA. were concerned about frost and freezing temps......Froze my stones off this morning. First time in a year that it’s been in the mid 30s in the morning. Currently 58, nice if you’re in the sun.
No clouds anywhere, just crisp, cool air coming down out of Canada.
Growers in the central valley kept the sprinklers on all night to stay above freezing.I was hearing on the radio this morning that the fruit and produce folks in CA. were concerned about frost and freezing temps......
Sometimes if you beg long and hard enough they'll grant your wish and give you a months worth in 30 minutes.I've been begging Mother Nature for rain --- well, this morning at 1 AM, she delivered. There was lightning right over my house,
the thunder was shaking the whole house and the rain came down like Niagara Falls. I don't mind admitting I was hiding under the
covers -- it was frightening. Just checked the rain gauge --- just a bit over 2.24 inches -- in about 30 minutes.
Had one casualty in the house --- my TV. I heard a "pop" during the storm, apparently it was a surge that killed the TV. Nothing else,
thank goodness. I unplugged the computer when the first bolt of lightning lit up the place. *whew*
Temps were in the low 70s when I went to bed -- low 40s this morning.
Yep --- it was a good, old-fashioned, Texas-sized, Spring storm. I just HATE when they come in the middle of the night.Sometimes if you beg long and hard enough they'll grant your wish and give you a months worth in 30 minutes.
Hurricanes have a bad habit of doing that also.Yep --- it was a good, old-fashioned, Texas-sized, Spring storm. I just HATE when they come in the middle of the night.
