I don’t mind 100+ if it’s dry. We’re still getting some humidity here.
I prefer humidity in single digits.

Lucky you...78% yesterday and 93 degrees, was brutal at work. The extremely low humidity is the only saving grace around here. Below 20% most of the time.
Dry as dust.
*sigh* Not even the slightest hope for rain in Texas.Getting ready for IKEA to deliver my ark...5+ inches of rain over the weekend and more to come.
And no measurable rain here since July 4 --- and none in sight for the next 10 days.Holy downpour Batman! (that's what it's been like here the last few days.) Not a drop for close to two months, and now we're all getting washed away.
We had a cold front come through --- instead of 107+, high today was only 102*. Whoopee.3:30 and 104 degrees
The humidity is what I could do without. Supposedly going to be a bit drier in he next few days. At least it cools off at night. Are you wearing a sweater? Sounds like overcoat weather to me.
It's a neat place. I've been there several times since the late 80s. I'm glad that you enjoyed your visit to my little corner of the world. Since the blues weren't practicing when you were here on wednesday the weather must of been bad. They practice every Tues and wed weather permitting.Have you been to the Air Force Armament museum up by Destin Fort Walton airport? That was kind of a neat little museum, plus it was cool to see the SR-71 up close, that was fun.
I'd LOVE to have a high of only 91*. And 68* at night would be heavenly. Maybe about October. *sigh*Highest today was 33 (91) degrees. Now in the evening it's very pleasant with around 20 (68).
It's gonna stay hot until Wednesday with 38(!!!) degrees in the forecast, but they said Wednesday could (hopefully) be the last day with that extreme heat.
If my grandparents came to Texas, I'm afraid they'd collapse instantly.I'd LOVE to have a high of only 91*. And 68* at night would be heavenly. Maybe about October. *sigh*
For gosh sakes, don't bring them to Texas in the summer. If my grandparents came to Texas, I'm afraid they'd collapse instantly.
Last year at Key West was the first time I personally experienced 100°F.
LOL, they've all never been to the US and they probably never get there because they're all over 70 now. The farest trip my grandpa ever did was probably to Hungary. For gosh sakes, don't bring them to Texas in the summer.
I don’t see how y’all deal with that humidity. So heat index is supposed to hit low 100s today, 79% humidity right now ,82 degrees and it's not 9 am yet....ugghh
It's rough dude, especially when you have to work in it. Today it was more humid, I hydrate in the morning before work, but I sweat that out by 9am, I probably drink a gallon of water easy and a couple of Gatorades at work. Usually we get a few boughts of it, but it's been like this for about 6 weeks. It drains you, last night I went to bed at 8pm. ...tonight could be earlier.I don’t see how y’all deal with that humidity.
I’m miserable with 30-50% humidity.
