maybe bring out the water trucks after each stage?Visibility is gonna be a huge issue.

It might make for an awful product on TV tooVisibility is gonna be a huge issue.
It’s interesting. Some guys are pretty sideways through the entire turn and some guys are trying to keep it straight. Not as much sliding around as I expected
will there be any lack of cautions tho?Sounds like they might need to schedule another caution or two for tires.
I guess I should say break instead because they’re not doing live stops, and I believe they can only change tires at the stage breaks and if they’re involved in an incident/have a tire issue.will there be any lack of cautions tho?
Sounds like they might need to schedule another caution or two for tires.
We’re running the race during the day instead of the night for the 6 fans in LA
Complaining is the point.A night race would be better suited to west coast TV viewers. Never can keep it straight what east coasters are complaining about with start times. I thought earlier was supposed to be better.
Yes, dirt track conditions are better at night. They are doing it when they're doing it because that is when the TV network wants to air it, and it's typically still cold in the evening in Tennessee in March. 70% the former, 30% the latter.
This is giving me major Indy 2008 vibes. We’re running the race during the day instead of the night for the 6 fans in LA so it’ll be a one groove snooze fest, and the tire compound is so bad we’re gonna have mandatory yellows every 20 laps. This doesn’t sound ideal
This experiment is nuts.Complaining is the point.
Good or bad, it’ll be legendary. This experiment is nuts.
I like the insanity of this and its working, you have guys like Chris Harris and Will Buxton chiming in on how insane this is.
This has been fun to watch, for sure.

He can't say anything, he's using Goodyear tires for his own SRX series.“These Goodyear tires are quickly shredding”
Somewhere in the world...
they cant create a new tire....not for this raceGood or bad, it’ll be legendary.
C’mon, Goodyear. Whatcha’ gonna’ do?
OKthey cant create a new tire....not for this race
Local is always better.just dropping in to give my opinion:
if you nascar fans are enjoying this, go find your local dirt short track and take in how the real dirt professionals and some very much amatuers can make your friday and saturday nights entertaining. it will take a couple of weeks to get to know the personalities, but it is well worth the time. same can be said for your local paved track.
I really expected this to be a lot less about the cars and more about the driver
Bowman pitters around on the dirt a bit. He has CJ Leary driving for him
NASCAR is hoping this format is a bit more successful. If they can do a crystal clear Pepsi they should be able to do crystal clear dirt to help prevent being blinded by the dust.
