2022 Xfinity Series News

Ya kinda stepped in here to stomp your chest after my reply to 2 other posters. We were having a discussion of our own opinions.

9 top 5s, 14 top 10s, 383 laps led in 22 races with Triad engines is hardly getting your ass beat.
That's your opinion, He got his ass beat. The year before driving for a cup team with a cup car he had 8 wins...12 wins the year after he folded with his tail between his legs...but with good sense at least. But he proved the huge gap between the two areas and how unfair the competion gap is. AND once again they have their 5 races now. It's a done deal. You want more? go find somebody to state your case.

Its a discussion forum. It’s unfortunate you start every single thread or you would be on ignore.

I had a solid discussion with idonthaveanickname about it, sooooo. Let me know who else did what Kyle did with Triad Racing Engines.
I could care less. The topic was about having a problem with Busch bringing his team to Xfinity. He got his ass beat when he did. He went on to help prove why cup drivers with cup teams, crews and resources don't get to camp out in the Xfinity series. I'm not sad at all that he won't be in the Xfinity series at all this year. I will believe it when I see it though.

Yep, it’s certainly a disappointment he won’t bring back his own team and run his races

Cup teams invading the lower series is one thing. But putting Cup drivers in those seats (for more than a half dozen races) doesn't just water it down, it kills the growth of the series. There's a good reason NASCAR imposed a limit. And because of that limit, Xfinity and Trucks is much better now than it was 10 years ago.

I'm glad Kyle has a truck team, and I'm glad he gives young ride buyers a chance in those trucks.

I wasn’t saying that him running 30+ races was a good thing to the series, but I also think it’s not good when some of these guys don’t do their 5-7 races they’ve been doing either. I was hoping Reddick would do some races but it doesn’t look like there’s any car for him. Allgaier & Hemric held their own at Nashville & Atlanta last year against the 54.

So you have no problem with Kyle bringing KBM to Xfinity? Why is it Kyle’s fault that he spends to be competitive with his OWN team and shop in the Truck Series and provides countless jobs and rides?
@DIDIT 's question was how lower tier drivers could improve without racing Cup-level talent. My opinion is that development drivers can learn more if the playing field is closer to even and the competition's combination of experience AND equipment doesn't give it an overwhelming advantage. I said nothing about how anyone spends their money, what they are or aren't allowed to do, or whose 'fault' any perceived transgression might be.

I also think there are usually enough experienced journeyman knocking around the lower two series to provide up-and-comers with sufficient competition without needing Cup drivers to completely dominate them.

I don't understand how these guys are going to get better and be able to move up with the Cup regulars not racing against them.
Just like they always have. The therory that running with them makes them better is crap. Kyle Busch running by you and leaving you by 2 seconds isnt helping at all. Those that outrun him are good enough to move up anyway.

Has there been any driver that has raced in the Xfinity Series that has put together a long period of success/wins in the Cup series without racing against some Cup drivers in the Xfinity Series?
Cup drivers have zero to do with it.

That was pretty good. A.J, the next to the last car in qualifying nips Cole Custer's time by .008 to win the pole

Brandon Brown has a new sponsor Zero FG energy drink...I'm guess that stands for ***** given

Parker Retzlaff, I will remember that name. He looked comfortable out there and RSS has two cars in the top 5.

Great stuff, JRM and Kaulig struggling a bit today.
