Chili Bowl 2019

It would be a heck of an upset if it happens
Keith Kunz Motorsports are the Chili Bowl favorites but they're not unbeatable
That's the sentiment from everyone inside the Tulsa Expo Center in Oklahoma

That's because the mega-powered team features the likes of Christopher Bell and Rico Abreu, winners of the past four Chili Bowls, in addition to Kyle Larson, USAC National champion Logan Seavey and POWRi champion Tucker Klaasmeyer.

In addition to Friday night's podium, the non KKM best bets to upset 'the empire' are Brady Bacon, Brad Sweet, Chase Briscoe, Ricky Stenhouse, Tyler Courtney and David Gravel. Surely others. Friday's podium:Justin Grant, Tanner Thorson

I got to say that Bell and Abreu are both great drivers and I have followed their careers for a while now. I would consider myself a good fan of both of them. But, it would be pretty neat if a team other than KKM can pull this off.

For those who don't already get MavTV, there are now cheaper ways to get it and watch the main events (C Mains through A Main) tonight than in years past, when the only option was the $100 yearly subscription to Lucas Oil Racing TV.

TikiLive apparently has MavTV on a starter package that is $5.99 per month.

NKT TV also apparently has it, not sure the cost there.

Fubo TV has it on an add-on package called Adventure Plus. The monthly cost looks to be $39.99 and the add-on package is $4.99, but they offer a 7-day free trial. So theoretically you could sign up for this, watch tonight, cancel within a week and pay nothing.

How many ppl have watched every lap since Monday? I'm not much of a Twitter guy, but I have thoroughly enjoyed Jeff Glucks perspective both last year as a virgin, and even more so this year. Between toggling no between watching live, scrolling thru Twitter and my race pass app. It's been an enjoyable week. With that said.... Go Kyle. :)

I can't justify the prices RacinBoys wants for prelim nights, but I have been following every night via Twitter and with live audio and videos posted later. Looking forward to watching live tonight.

fun to see reports on the "names" in the sport. but never forget there are a bunch of other racers proving they are pretty damn good!

Seavey, Bell, Larson and Thorson start 1-4 for the big show. Thorson is the only non Kunz car and Grant in 5th

I have a Lucas Oil Racing TV subscription from last year that is active for one more day (!), and I don't need it because I have MavTV through another package. I won't be using my Lucas Oil subscription to watch tonight. If anyone doesn't have access, PM me and I'll give you the login info.

Alex Bowman was in a transfer spot in C1, but slammed the wall with his right rear and fell out. Night over.

Very dicey, lots of hard battles. Brad Sweet wins B1, Stenhouse advances, Cole Bodine as well.

All of these cautions are a huge turnoff for someone like me that normally doesn't follow short track stuff. Just hard to stay interested when you're not seeing green flag runs of more than a handful of laps at a time.

Larson's found the top.

I think he has it, but he has to get through this traffic to pull it off.
