College Football 2016

Great comeback by the 'Noles tonight.

All in all, not a great weekend for the SEC. Other than Alabama, the rest of the conference was mediocre.

I was an unhappy camper, a nervous camper and finally a thrilled camper.

Last night was an entertaining game. Never a bad thing to watch Ole Miss lose.

I only watched beginning of the Ohio State game. They didn't look too sharp, must have kicked it in gear alter I turned it over.

They did well against Oklahoma Lite, hopefully they'll do well against Oklahoma next week as well.

If Del Rio is lost for the season and Appleby has to play I have little hope for the Gators. **** North Texas.

USF outscored Syracuse 45-3 after the 1st quarter and are looking solid heading into one of the biggest home games of all-time.

I still think UF leaves Knoxville with a win on Saturday. Losing Sutton hurts us. Coaches are saying Maybin will be back by Saturday, but if he is I doubt he's 100%. I'm expecting this game to be very similar to the 2014 game that UF won 10-9. UF's defensive line will absolutely destroy our offensive line and our offense will seriously struggle to move the ball.

I sincerely hope so. We're off to a good start. :D

Had fun at my first Vols game yesterday, was pleased with how Ohio was able to hang with them.
Glad to hear you had a good time. It sucks that it was your first game because the crowd was as dead/uninterested as I've seen it in a long time. Where did you sit?

They've had one half of good Football in 3 games. Not good vs Florida.
And that one good half is because the other team was putting the ball on the ground like it was their job.

Not so fun stat: In the first three games, Tennessee has fumbled 11 times, but only lost 1. Obviously, ball security is a problem for us and the ball isn't going to bounce our way all year.

Even though we were in Bobcat gear (my wife is an Ohio U alum), everybody was really friendly to us and I loved the atmosphere of the place.

Vol fans really are classy people for the most part. Unlike some other SEC fan bases.

The only fan base that I've ever had consistent problems with is Auburn. Every game I've attended against them, their fans are always ignorant bastards. Other than that, it's nothing more than the occasional drunk frat guy. Hell, the Florida fans in Gainesville last year were some of the nicest I've encountered at a road game.

I still think the Gators can beat Tennessee this weekend, although with the injuries on both sides and Tennessee's general form it'll probably be another ****show like a few years ago as you said. A lot of running the ball with all of the different backs the Gators have and a continued reliance on a very strong defense. I'll be very surprised if it's a blowout either way.

Fortunately it sounds like Del Rio's injury should sideline him only for a few weeks, so he should be back for UGA. LSU without him will be tough, but if they win the next three I think UF has a legit chance of making a run for the SEC title and NY6.
