Cup RACE thread --- Chicago Street

Main problem is these cars create such a huge roost. Only cars that can see are front maybe 4 cars. Remember Truex getting drilled at COTA?
Exactly, we would end up with more wrecks, and people blaming the drivers over NASCAR for making a stupid call.

Y'all do know weather forecasts are for a general area, right? When the TV weatherman in that big city 20 miles away says 70%, it applies to a few counties, not specifically to your back yard. You may be in that 30% that gets nothing.

that's true.

only one that's strange is the one I mentioned since it was like 0% chance lol. It straight up came out of nowhere.

Seems like a good time for a CAT UPDATE: Of course, she sleeps when they are racing, but she’s awake when they’re not.

Is that a 8:20 eastern or central time, limit?

OK,so NASCAR says this race will end at 8:20 CT, I believe we will get back under way at the latest 7:30 CT

Kyle Busch’s bourbon gonna have me good and drunk time as we go green

If this race ended now, is it even possible to give it a race rating? How do you rate a race that only went 25 of the 75 planned laps?

Put a speed limit on them. Start them moving at 30 mph, increasing by 2 mph every 2 minutes.

Penalties for breaking the speed limit would require the driver to let everybody pass them, which would put them a lap down at a minimum. Penalized cars also lose their speed limit clock and must reset back to 30 mph max and work back up by 2 mph every 2 minutes while everyone else is progressively building a longer unpenalized clock.

Boom there it is! Comers and Goers, rebuilding the vortex too

That's the most personality I've seen out of Bowman in a long time.
