Cup RACE thread --- Daytona Road Course

Since everyone is talking about the radar, here it is. The track is just about where the dot for Daytona Beach is.

There's a storm west of the track that may reach the track in about an hour or so... perhaps near the end of the race.
 
Truex scored stage points because he was forced / allowed to stay out rather than serve the penalty. That's an oddity.

He had 3 corners and was slow as Christmas the whole time
 
Sitting there facing the wrong way and the field driving around you......get it turned around and most important thing is ‘who tf punted me?’
 
I've said this numerous times, but despite some missfortunate crap for Chase, he has a lot of luck go his way some time.

19 was the only car who could compete, and he's gone.

Since they are there already and have full HP, a few of those guys should make a couple laps with TV telemetry and see what speeds they could reach.... Wonder if they’d set a new NASCAR record?

I’m waiting for that to come up later. But honestly something looked like it was up with harvick on the start. He lost a ton of ground in the first few corners.

I know he’ll try to do something to 95 now tho
