I never thought I’d see the day when this board turns on Kyle Larson. But it’s happening in real time. Larson turned heel today I think.

Well made some mistakes… recovering beautifully. Then the teammate who wins 19 races every 7 days somewhere on earth cannot seem to race in nascar without throwing his car into someone
 
Honestly, poorly timed blocks happen in races for the win.

It happens every week with team Penske, it happened with Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson and went on for an entire season, and it'll continue to happen.

Blocking happens in racing, and when it isn't executed properly, guys get screwed and get pissed. And they move on. These guys are closer than we all think they are, and Chase certainly isn't going to condemn Kyle to hell.

That wasn’t blocking. Chase had his nose past Larson’s right rear. It’s ok to admit that your god of racing flat out effed up.

Chase is very calculated in his revenges. This is going to be delicious when he executes. And I guarantee you he won’t cut the 5 a break all year.

No. It's not calculated. It's a split second instinct to throw a block at the wrong time with consequences the other guy isn't going to accept.

It was clearly a poorly executed block like the Penske drivers complain about, obviously a mistake. I do not think he decided "I'm going to door him into the wall", it was a late block.

God of racing? come on. Stop. Larson can't hold a candle to Smoke, JJ, Jeff Gordon, or Dale Sr, those are my Gods of racing.

Like, if that’s the first time Larson got into Chase like that, I’d be way more inclined to believe what he said. Way more. But like, he’s done it a few times now. Guess every time it’s just a mistake

It’s little things that tv doesn’t often capture and this board doesn’t notice. Larson hitting and pushing Chase on pit road last year in the 600 comes to mind. That was the last time I heard Chase screaming “WTF” on the radio. There have been several other moves on restarts, etc as well.

Haha. That’s exactly right. It makes the stuff fun. I’ll just leave it at a couple hot take reactions i did

Man, if chase has the same car next week… which is sounds like they all will… I’m excited about that!

Yup. This right here. This is the right take.

Larson reacted, threw a block too late and ****** up, doored Chase and ruined his day, and Chase is rightfully mad. They'll talk, they'll move on, Chase will race him harder. And they'll both win races, and probably laugh about how their fans are throwing stones. These guys spend way too much time together for this to be a thing.

That’s just it… I know Larson will get his like today. I’m not confident Chase will get those wins. I guess I’m a crappy fan, but I have zero confidence outside the Roval any more.
