He's in it as of now. And if Logano wrecks him again before Miami, Truex will take the suspension and wipe Joey out at Miami.

That was a bump, a dump is something like what Hamlin did to Elloitt or Cindric dumping Grala out of the way at Mosport. Hell, saw it at Mosport again with Gragson diveboming Gilliland and ****** up their races entirely.

Nascar will go in full defense mold and threaten Truax with 2019 carryover penalties going into Homestead.
Truax's inner circle will remind him of the aftermath for Kenseth (two race suspension).

Phoenix will be the best option for Truax. He needs to rough him up while racing for a real position and at least demonstrate something that does not look like outright malice.

The best hope is that he makes the Homestead final four. I don't care if he wins the thing, but it gives him the same protected final four touch me not status that all others have to follow. That would allow him to truly screw up Lagano, and I hope it is ugly.

Im not talking points, Im talking skill, it didnt take skill to move the 78. Running inside of the 22 for 15 laps and not touching him did.

I have to agree I think, MTJ is going to just out drive Joey like he has done for the most part of this year, MTJ has way too much on the line to purposefully take him out like Matt did to Joey, now, if MTJ does get eliminated, then anything is possible.

But things could get crazy at PIR in a few weeks, so who really knows.

Truex had better have Texas won if he does, he has everything to lose and nothing to gain. I would be looking for it if Truex isn't in the running at Homestead..nothing to lose

Truex won't care about the carryover. And Phoenix doesn't knock Logano out of the championship.

Retaliation is done when it matters most.

Truex won't take him out ... Unless Logano does him in again. But he might "get loose" under Logano at Miami and cost him 10-12 positions.
 
Truex entourage ( Pearn and Pollex) still bitching about this on Twitter. What would Twitter have been like in the middle to late 80’s when the Intimidator reigned supreme? That’s the one of the only few things I’ll say it was better then than now, drivers and crews settled this on the track not on their phones. Ugh.

You can disagree all you want, he couldnt pass him back so he blasted him, that takes no talent.

What bias? I know why the 22 did what he did, but dont tell me he was the faster and the better car. So with that being said, I hope the 78 returns the favor

Anyone see the Captain's comments on the situation? For a change he let people know exactly where he stood without layering it with niceness.
 
They should send the 2 car out to dog the 78 for the next 3 races. That would be some Indy car/F1 style of team racing.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
 
Another memorable moment today to add to the long list of awesome Martinsville races. I don't have a dog in the fight of today's Nascar but I do like to see races that have excitement and stir emotion. We got that today. We saw two driver's going for the win including one that wanted it more. Can't wait to see how this all shakes out throughout the rest of this season. I'll be rooting for Truex to get that needed win or points total to advance. That'll make for great discussion heading into Miami/Homestead.
