I give him credit, he believes his own lies…”it’s not a lie if you believe it”
Believing doesn't make it true, it makes you mistaken."it’s not a lie if you believe it”
Preece got used up by Lajoie
He was definitely number 1. Twice for each person there. Can’t beat that.
It’s a line from Seinfeld and the character George Costanza. The whole premise of that episode was your response post to mineBelieving doesn't make it true, it makes you mistaken.
I’m confident in my fan preferences that he will be the second driver I won’t miss at all when he retires. Rusty Wallace being the first one. I even miss Jimmie Johnson a tad and this is coming from a disgruntled JG fan who routinely had to watch his driver get beat by the 48 in the mid to late 00’s.Denny is the perfect anti-hero for the sport.
Always has been, always will be. Hate him now because when he retires, he will be missed greatly.

Logano: "COME HERE!... STUPID SONS OF BITCHES"
Logano scolding track workers like they're his children for a bad tow job!
Omg I've never heard him this mad lol

I'll miss him possibly less than Kevin Harvick. KH's dickheadedness seems to be waning as he finally matures. DH's seems to be intensifying.Denny is the perfect anti-hero for the sport.

I think he's even gotten worse as he's aged. Kinda like DH...Rusty is a driver I never missed also.
I found the last 5 years of his career cringe worthy. He acted like he was the driver, car chief and crew chief - called the shots across the board and because the sport evolved past that, he got smoked.

No sir, he got pushed in to 1 causing him to move up. I mean come on Rev, its clear as day on the video. Truex said the exact same thing i did about it. Called it dirty, his own teammate.22 seconds in.....he pushes up, Denny gets to the inside. Larsons lifts, he makes the corner. Don't get me wrong, Denny didn't cut him any slack, but Larson wasn't perfect there....just like Kansas....he opened the door.
Nobody's going to have time to miss him, because he'll still be there every week running his mouth as a team owner.I’m confident in my fan preferences that he will be the second driver I won’t miss at all when he retires. You have Flo, listen to what Larson said, it's under the High Limit Sprint car entry list.No sir, he got pushed in to 1 causing him to move up. I mean come on Rev, its clear as day on the video. Truex said the exact same thing i did about it. Called it dirty, his own teammate.
I miss Mark Martin. I miss Ron Hornaday.Denny is the perfect anti-hero for the sport.

I love me an anti-hero....I think that it exposes the bias and passion that lives in just about every fan...granted it is more or less profound fan to fan. Look at the KB thing....Hated for many of the same reasons Denny is hated now. The difference could be team, manufacturer, or attitude. Who the hell knows, but I think it is cool. There's nothing wrong with Denny really. There have been dirtier drivers honestly.....I don't see a difference between pounding a guys ass at Martinsville into 3 and what Denny did. I am sure that there are old school guys who will flame me, but whatever. That hate is more about who Denny is rather than what he did.I miss Mark Martin. I miss Ron Hornaday.
I don't need an anti-hero, I don't hate Denny, so I won't miss him. If I'm not missing Matt Kenseth, I won't miss Denny Hamlin.
Dale Jr's take on Hamlin/Larson.
Yeah, I don't think it would be any harm at all to rename your 18 yota shrine pieces to the 11, a magic marker could make short work of it.I love me an anti-hero....I think that it exposes the bias and passion that lives in just about every fan...granted it is more or less profound fan to fan. Interestingly as I type this, KFB himself is on NASCAR Radio, and sees this as a new era of how to race. That's interesting.

Hamlin hit him, he WAS off the gas, the SMT data proved that, The in-car from Harvick shows the contact plainly.
You can see the whole thing from Harvick's car here:
I agree.....or you could take that **** off of my hands. A little rubbing alcohol on the 1.Yeah, I don't think it would be any harm at all to rename your 18 yota shrine pieces to the 11, a magic marker could make short work of it.
Denny never really was a dirty driver until this year.I love me an anti-hero....I think that it exposes the bias and passion that lives in just about every fan...granted it is more or less profound fan to fan. Larson is no saint himself. I could easily see this coming back to bite Denny in the ass in another high leverage situation like with Chase at Phoenix several years back.Clearly Denny wants a Cup Championship far more than he wants to unseat Chase for Most Popular Driver. I'd be the same. The window of opportunity is closing, time to take what he wants.
Oh I am all for a pissed off Larson, he can get pretty crazy in a dirt sprint if he is rubbed the wrong way. He got caught thinking Hamlin would race him clean because "friends". Hamlin doesn't have any friends.Larson is no saint himself. I could easily see this coming back to bite Denny in the ass in another high leverage situation like with Chase at Phoenix several years back.
The biggest concern with that is the telemetry. Nascar is much more capable now of reading intent and punishing retaliation.Larson is no saint himself. I could easily see this coming back to bite Denny in the ass in another high leverage situation like with Chase at Phoenix several years back.
I think if it’s in the same manner, opening up the wheel a touch and escorting the guy to the wall, it’ll probably be okay. I think punishable stuff is overtly malicious (Bubba, Chase). The biggest concern with that is the telemetry. Nascar is much more capable now of reading intent and punishing retaliation.
I don't think Denny is dirty. I think this is a bunch of drama. His podcast triggers the **** out of people. He isn't likable...but I am starting to love him because he doesn't care. KB left a void....Denny is filling it.Denny never really was a dirty driver until this year.
He dumped Chase...but I don't think that did it. Denny was never disliked for his on track stuff. I think people genuinely don't like him as a person.

Good for him, so what does that have to do with him wrecking the 5? I guess that gives him a pass?I don't think Denny is dirty. I think this is a bunch of drama. Chocolate Myers posed an interesting question this morning.....How is what Denny did different than giving a guy a shot at Martinsville and forcing him out of his lane? For those committed to flaming me....STFU....this is Choc asking....answer the question.....and KB himself said that this was a new way of racing today......
Look, Denny has done a ton for this sport....owner....entertaining podcast....driver.....brought the world's greatest athlete into ownership......He is moving the needle....like him or not....
BTW.....My first Denny Hamlin hat is coming in a couple of days....and no, I am not joking.
