5 loses the points lead tonight and will never get it back. Just an absolute dumpster fire of a race after 3 weeks off.

Missing the 600 is haunting.

Larson hasn't given a solid balance report all race other than "I don't know"

Lol Larson won Darlington last year, is pretty damn good at Michigan and anything can happen at Daytona. Far from over.
 
I’m shook the 3 has been top 10, top 5 while his teammate is running a dismal 19th and hasn’t sniffed the top 10 . What’s going on RC???

It’s been interesting since it’s new, but I think teams will quickly catch on that the strategy cheese is to run the softs after a stage break and at the end of the race. I think this weekend’s experiment was about validating a different compound, and if they didn’t work they aren’t mandatory tonight anyways. But having a compound that you have to manage every run sounds like it would make for a better product.
