Jimmie is not a question of speed anymore IMO.Jimmie out here racing a lapped car like its the last lap. Ruined it for his team.
The question is that if he can finish a race with a fast piece.

Why should they? This is one of my biggest pet peeves in every form of pavement racing lately, lapped cars. They don't even try to give leaders a lane anymore.

Lapped cars are apart of NASCAR. Gotta deal with it. It’s the leader’s job to find a way to get around them with the faster car. The lapped car has every right to race to stay on the lead lap. Jimmie just **** the bed there. This is one of my biggest pet peeves in every form of pavement racing lately, lapped cars. They don't even try to give leaders a lane anymore.
He gave him the bottom. Thats Darlington 101 off of turn 2This is one of my biggest pet peeves in every form of pavement racing lately, lapped cars.
Worried about Buescher taking the win from himThat was some Trevor Bayne level material there...
Why was he even trying to get around him???
So much for half of that.I like the 24 and the 48 today.
Where should Buescher have gone? This is one of my biggest pet peeves in every form of pavement racing lately, lapped cars.
Racing a lapped car way too hard, way too early.Should have just been taking it smoothly there. Weird to see Jimmie make that mistake
Don’t be silly48 is going to be a problem for the field all year, regardless of that gaffe.
I've never understood how the guy that gets hit from the rear is at fault. JJ screwed up. I bet he says as much.Bummer! Looked like all Johnson on that one.
That sucks. Just the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't blame the 17 at all. Cars get loose off of 2 all the time...
He wasn't lapped, though, my guyThis is one of my biggest pet peeves in every form of pavement racing lately, lapped cars.
Yeah Buescher should have just laid down and lost a lap. That's racing right? This is one of my biggest pet peeves in every form of pavement racing lately, lapped cars.
Never blamed Alan. Just saying they were “goers” when other 3 HMS cars were coming forward. Doesn’t matter now, Chase sped on pit road.Yall have lost your minds. All of HMS is in the top 7 and Chase is knocking on the door for 6th.
Alan is one of the best CCs in the garage when it comes to unloading with speed. Strategy, not so much. Any #9 fan would be crazy to want him gone. Who would replace him?
Buescher backed off a lot, then it was like a bowling ball type of deal. JJ hit Buescher in the left rear, Buescher bounced off of the wall and hits JJ.Damn, you never know in racing what is going to happen. Gordon is being kind, but looks like Johnson lost the front end to me.
This race track is two lanes wide and the #48 tried to make it a 1 lane track. Get over it.Don't mind me, I'm just sick of seeing fast cars get tangled up by lapped cars.
Yes weird. He had always been the one to come through for Rick Hendrick. Seems like he has lost his mojoWeird to see Jimmie make that mistake
Elliott too fast as well.Newman too fast.
the 9 has way too many pit problems. He's not at the Hamlin level, but he doesn't cover it up as well as Hamlin can.9 and 6 too fast on pit road
This is exactly why I don't put a lot of credit into numbers. People tend to put so much interest into the numbers that they don't actually see why that number came to light. There are so many other things besides the drivers driving ability that can change that number dramatically. Bowman is a good example of being a better driver then his numbers show imo.Average finish in 2018 - 17.0
Average finish in 2019 - 14.4
Fifth race of the year and he's, far and away, having a career year. He could lead more laps in five races by the end of today than he'd led in any prior season.
Apparently to the garage, parked, to allow JJ to pass him.Where should Buescher have gone?
Why should they?
It was a racing deal, Jimmie was clearly trying to get away from the 24 and 11, came up on him as Buscher was checking up.Buescher backed off a lot, then it was like a bowling ball type of deal. JJ hit Buescher in the left rear, Buescher bounced off of the wall and hits JJ.
Racing deal, but JJ should have been more patient IMO.
Why couldn't he have made that mistake when we had to watch him be flawless for yearsYes weird. He had always been the one to come through for Rick Hendrick. Seems like he has lost his mojo
So...the fast guy has no responsibility? Maybe would think about where to pass?Don't mind me, I'm just sick of seeing fast cars get tangled up by lapped cars. It's become VERY common in pavement Late Model racing.
He owns it, Johnson probably will as well.
I thought he would just hang well behind the 17 or wait until they headed into 3. The exit of 2 can be super dicey....
He made his share of mistakes then too.Why couldn't he have made that mistake when we had to watch him be flawless for years
