Does Jeff Gordon even care anymore?

Oh, and in case it's too small to see, my avatar is Gordon on the truck at Daytona. Which i took, from about 15 feet away!

I really like not using the emotican. Letting them think your a little crazy, kooky, etc is empowering.

I often feel the urge to do the same.

But alas, people here know I'm abit of a joker and dont take me as seriously so I cant pull it off as well. lol
 
Two top 5s and a top 10. He's having a fantastic year so far & the only other driver who has had better is Jr. If this effort keeps up & a little racing luck is graced upon him he will get a win for sure. If not, he's easily on his way to make the chase on points. No complaints here

This is exactly right. But if it's really fun and only one person gets it, it's totally worth it.

P6 qualifying effort at Bristol.

If he only cared a little, he'd be on the pole!

If they race on Sunday Jeff has a chance at Bristol.

But my sources are telling me that if their prearranged manipulated rain does indeed materialize on Sunday, that Jeff still gets monday and tuesday off.
Beings it is a week day less folks will watch, so they will relax a little and just use one his clones for the weekday event. In that case expect the dont care Jeff wheel holder nonchalantly to log off the laps.

It all adds up, Jeff has never won aTuesday cup race.

Jeff Gordon did win at Atlanta on a Tuesday back in 2011.

The hostage situation probably hadn't ivolved to that extend most likely which would explain him showing up that one day.
 
I think jeff will win this race. He'd better or my fantasy team will take a hit!
I'm just so sad it's going to rain. If they don't do it Sunday or Monday night, I'm probably not going to be able to attend. Woe.

Even if they don't race just being enveloped by the racing atmosphere is part of the experience
 
Here is one more sad tragic exhibits of an unengaged disinterested, lethargic, distracted driver. This not so subliminal message sez I would rather be driving a ship.....

It doesn't really matter if he cares anymore. Jeff has won his share of races and championships and he doesn't really need to prove himself to anyone anymore. He has been a good driver and a great ambassador for Nascar and has had a career that should make any fan of his very proud.
 
Gordon had a shot at the top 5, but the deal he made with his captors allows him relax more when he has to work overtime.
So after 8:30 he turned off Gufestans radio and would only speak in Belguim with Ingrid. Still pretty impressive based on the halfass effort.
 
I find it ironic that the year top 10s and good points days don't seem to matter, he's being very consistent in his finishes unlike previous years. Would he be in the top 3 if this were a normal chase? If he keeps racing like this a win will fall in his flavor.
