That`s the thing - the officials do know and wont say anything and that`s usually not good.
Dan was airlifted, 3 others by ground for concussions
IIRC next of kin must be notified before can be announced
If they are sending Jamie, then I dont think the officials even know. Which means he may still be alive.
(Theory being they would know if he was DOA, but not if he was alive but knocked out)

The tarp over that one car was what scared me. I know they said it was to keep the parts from blowing off on the back of the truck but a tarp over a wrecked race car is not good.

I am thinking that something was in that car that might have been a bit gorey. I am hoping that is not true. But there are some things that the fans don't need to see.
Prayers for Dan but this does not look good. Some of the other drivers that they interviewed gave up some bad vibes like they knew something.

Here is what I see onDan's car on the replay: 2 cars were folded sideways in front of him. This blocked the front wing, both from wheels collapsed, nose came up, and physics did their thing.
drivers arent EMT's. By what has been described, i would be sick just at the visual.

Yeah the tarp was NOT a good sign. Also, Danica had an emotional reaction to something that her handlers told her - and she was good buds with Dan. I have a very bad feeling about this...

Marty Reid was right about what he said. We get so used to drivers having huge crashes and walking away without a scratch like Saturday with Johnson or Elliott Sadler and the crashes he's had and we forget just how dangerous racing is.

Ashley's legit post concurs with my reason for espn sending jamie little. If they cut hi out of the car, then everybody assumes bad. But if he was unconscious, then all they can do is airlift- the IMC doesnt have anything other than the doctors and basic stuff.
