Kenseth?

:D The only people you need to worry about offending here are the mods. The actual mods, not the eyeroll brigade.

I understand but I dont come on here to get all holy roly serious, there are other places for that. To me this is entertainment and entertainment is meant to be fun. To me its not fun to get into highly emotional, no win, nonsensical arguments. Although they are for the most part fun to read. Certain people have to win"Every single point" to prove their intelligence, or lack of, and that is hilarious, not at all real life. Damn that was deep.

I'm sure Fender and his little boyfriend's would invite you in to their little giggle and tickle club if you did start spreading your incredible intelligence and wisdom. Or you could just keep BURPing. It's all the same.:)
I rest my case your honor.

My two cents.......Kenseth to JGR either as a fourth car or more likely to replace Logano.

Where the hell is the pantie knot emote?

Sounds like somebody is getting jealous.:D

Well, guys, I'd like to make a suggestion here and only a suggestion. I think we've made our point and maybe it's time to get back on track or at least as close as we've ever been to being on track ;) Please try to keep in mind that I in no way intend to tell anyone what to do, say or think but rather just another fleeting thought.

Good idea. That Kenseth is an idiot. ;)

I'm really curious as to what went down. Matt said "some things didn't happen and other things happened". Just a guess, but a fulltime sponsor didn't happen, and Stenhouse demanding a cup ride next year did happen. I forget the name of the former HMS engineer that is now a race hub analysist, but he said Ricky had a clause that would release him from his contract if he didn't get a fulltime cup ride next year. As the hottest new cup prospect, someone else may have offered him that ride, and it forced Jacks hand.

After seeing that interview with Burns, I think Kenseth seen the writing on the wall and is trying to get out with some dignity and a top(ish) ride. Good for him as so far both he and RFR are handling it as gentlemen.

It would seem that being the points leader at Roush brings these problems on. I'm glad it wasn't a friggin' sputtering ferris wheel ride like Carl ran last year.

Kenseth just isn't as marketable is Edwards and he knows that.

Why do I equate poor old Michael Waltrip to being one of the dumbest people in NASCAR? I know he operates a very successful company, but hell the guy reminds me of an idiot.

It's probably from growing up in the shadow of an A-type like DW. I've go to give Waltrip credit, though, as he's built a darn good organization

Word is that it's a done deal @ JGR for Kenseth according to many of the media type hanging about the garage. Sure wouldn't be the first time if they're wrong but it sounds like we may be able to put our magic 8-balls away. Wherever he ends up, I'd guess success is sure to follow.

I've never been too much of a Kenseth fan during his Cup career but I was a big fan of both he and Jr. in the Nationwide series during the late 90's. Especially @ Dover. They put on a great show.

Is the rumor he replaces somebody or a new team? I would think if he wasn't replacing someone they would've announced it already.

That's the way I see it, but you never know. My feeling is if he is replacing Logano, telling the world now will get him a ton of exposure and support, which may attract a new sponsor.

More Logano hate and if he gets booted from cup it'll be your fault  Do you ever take a break, Fender?

and yet we get reports like this, from jayski:
UPDATE: Sources have confirmed to PitPass.net that Michael Andretti has purchased the engine program from Penske Racing and will field at least one full time Dodge in the Cup series in 2013 and beyond. No word on who the driver is, but with Matt Kenseth leaving Roush at the end of the season, the 2003 Cup series champ did confirm to the Journal Sentinel on Wednesday that he will drive for "a new cup team" in 2013 and beyond. One option on the table is for Andretti to base his team out of the old Evernham Motorsports shop at the Statesville Regional Airport in Statesville, N.C. Also hearing from this unnamed source that this new deal with Dodge is also with Richard Petty Motorsports -- currently a Ford team paired with Roush Fenway Racing, but has a long history with Dodge. (this is why we didn't get the announcement of Petty to Dodge in Michigan a few weeks ago, they were trying to get Kenseth). Hearing that an offical announcement could come as early as next weekend.(PitPass.net)(6-282012)

Now however the article says he will be driving for a new team, not a new organization. So he could still be with JGR, just in a 4th car...

All in the wording, I guess. It does add some fuel to the fire, however. :D

Matt , going to a new car should have the right to bring a crew chief with him ,if he wants to . Any thoughts as to what might happen there ? Reiser wouldn't go back to crew chief ,I don't think ; Fennig wouldn't leave Roush , I don't think , Blickensderfer is with Burton . Any other past relations that may come back?

IMO, Fennig is one the best CC's in Nascar and I just don't see him leaving RFR but I'm not sure who all is available. I'd be happy with just about anyone excpet Tony Eury Jr.

Edit: Man, wouldn't it be awsome if Kenseth could get Zippadeli:bounce:

For the record, I'm predicting a 3rd car for Penske with Kenseth behind the wheel.
