Started 3ed in the feature, got shuffed to the back, and made up the spots by orther ppls bad luck. but hey i moved up to 4th in the points!

I dont know how they do the points, you get points for the feaure. and then passing points on top of it.

hopefully i can get 2nd. the guy in the lead has over 100 points and that will be hard to make up unless he skips like 2 races.

I am hitting the road for a busy weekend of racing. Tonight i will be in Maddisonville, Ky and tomm night i will in in Owensborror(sp), KY. Wish me luck guys, and ya'll have a safe and happy 4th weekend!

Heat - 1 (1st ever heat win, started 4th, as soon as the green fell i put the car right next to the wall and went 3 wide and took the lead b4 turn 1. lead flag to flag)
Feature - 7 (DNF, well DNS was in a wrecked b4 we got out of turn 1 on the 1st lap)

This Sat back to WKS. 2 races and 2 DNFs. up to 5 DNFs on the year so far....:-S
 
This had to be the most screwed up race of my moment.

I also would like to know if anyone knows were i can get a UPS dirvers suit. (you will know why in just a few moments)

Hot laps - Had a very fast car, got 1/2 down the back strech and next thing i know i am holding my sterring wheel but its not attached to anything. the car turned right and is heading right at the wall, so all i can do is shut my eyes and jam on the brakes, right b4 i hit the wall the car turns left, and stops. Some how i kept it off the wall.

Heat Race - Started 6th, and worked my way up to 4th. it was about the 2nd or 3ed lap, got 1/2 down the back strech again. and guess what happands? yup it poped off again. this time i was not so luck, i get hooked hit the wall, the car gets air born and i did all but flip it. came really close. The officals are looking at the car and tell me its fine. but i take off and something dont sound or fell right. I had a flat right front tire. Have no clue why the officals did not tell me that at 1st. But some how the front end was not knocked out of line. but yet with a flat i had to watch the rest of the heat from the infiled. I finished 8th.

Feature - Started 6th, and was running 5th for a while. the 2nd place car hit the wall and had a flat that moved me up to 4th. The guy in front of me would get really loose and i would try to pass low, but he would get the car back in line and beat me off the turn, and when i would try high he would come up and id have to back out. I finaly got around, and starting runing down the leaders. With a 1 lap 1/2 to go i blew by the 2nd place car. came to the white flag and i started to run down the leader but was to late. i was able to get 2nd place. I was about a straght away off the leader. I think i could of gave him something to run for if i did not get stuck behind that slow car for about 9 laps.

The sterring wheel is a racing quick release, and the pin went bad and just worked its way off under presser. but that will be taken care once and for all.

1st race i have finished since 6-10 at KLMS. and that was a 2nd place. I have had 2 DNFs in arow in features. So this was a big bost for me. Just sucks we have 2 off weeks now.
 
Went to Atwood, started 8th in the 2nd heat, passed 1 car. Everyone was in a huge wad, and the olny grove was on the bottom, nothing was up high.

Started the feature 14th. Worked my way up 2 6th, Was running 4th when the yellow came out and they called the race with about 4 laps left. Had my sites set on da leader and and catching him fast. Again, every one running real close, and just hard to make the pass.

Clayhill Motorsports, Atwood, TN 3/8 mile track, semi banked.

15 cars were scored for the race, but i think about 18 started, but were black flaged or something.

I always get the shaft when the yellow comes out, or they call a race early, but cant do anything about it.

23 Stright top 10 finishes for me! 16th of the year!!
 
7-21-06 Camden Speedway. Camden, TN

A Main - RAIN

Yellow came out b4 we completed 2 laps, so went back to the last complected lap. i was running 2nd. The green came on the re-start, i went ot the bottom and did not look back, lead 5 of the 6 laps.

This is my 2nd Heat win. We will go back next week, but they will start the races over, since they do not run dubble features. but i still won the heat, and they can't take that away from me!


NEXT RACE: 7-22. Clayhill Motorsports, Atwood, TN
 
UPDATE:

Camden was cancled yesterday so no racing last night.

But Western Ky. Speedway is a go for tonight! Last time i made a perdiction on were id finish i got. (last week at Clay Hill 3rd) so i'll do it again this week. 1st not going to get big headed, just going to drive a smart race, and bearound at the end to go for it.

Wow Nick, that stinks! So you are trying to emulate Tony Stewart in flips? (I know, not funny).

My flip was better then tonys! :D

I am going to take a few weeks off, get my head checked out and may make one more run this year. If i take 6 weeks off that will allow me to run the last race of the year at Ky. Lake Motor Speedway. Its along shot but i got to have something to look forward to, if not i will return in March 2007 at Clarksville (TN) Speedway.
 
what will you drive? the picture make the car loook like it'll need a rather large sledge to move the cage back where it belongs. Going to pull a mikey and buy your way in (not funny either, but..)?
 
Cage is put back in its spot, and the roof is close enough. (no such thing as aero really helping on our tracks) If all goes as planed i will return to the drivers seat 9-29-2006 at Paducah Int raceway, on the 1/5 mile track. :bounce:
