NASCAR considering radical changes to playoff system

@JennaFryer

Does the NFL call Peyton Manning and Tom Brady before they have to face cameras, run rules by them, and have them deflect questions?

He forgot to add "most probably for the worst".
With all the negative feedback from the fans about the proposed system I wonder if Brian's team wiped off the chalkboard & birthed another monster.

Kyle also says a driver who wins a race in a Chase segment automatically moves on to the next segment.

Did anyone really believe nascar was going to take opinions from fans and drivers then make changes to the sport based on that?

Jeff Gluck@jeff_gluck
Kyle says the decision has been made. Says NASCAR meetings aren't really about feedback, more about telling drivers what already decided.

Well there you have it. The fans and drivers never have had a say. They make this **** up as they go along. **** 'em.
Then again, Kyle may not be on that short list of drivers that they consult.

So..... We are about 27 minutes away from possibly many fan giving up on this sport. If that pertains to you and you currently are holding on to some good seats at a track located on the east coast preferably north of Charlotte, let me know. I may be interested. ;)

HEADS UP!

@dustinlong REMINDER: #NASCAR Announcement on Chase coming up with 1 pm ET presser. Can hear it live online at MRN.com

and it can be watched here.

I have a feeling I'm going to be BUMMED.

I can't find any sign of this being on television. I'm sure ESPN will carry it on SportsCenter. I thought FOX Sports 1 would carry it but it doesn't look like they are. It's "All NFL, All The Time" over there.

@TheOrangeCone

Tick tick tick...waiting for this announcement is like waiting for the Big One at Talladega!
