NASCAR considering radical changes to playoff system

Great question from Jim Utter. I agree with the premise of his question. NASCAR's gone "all in" with winning. If a driver wins and they don't pass tech, they should be DQ'd.

Here is my biggest problem, there isn't 16 drivers that realistically can win the chase every year. This may increase more risk to go for the win but the same five to ten guys will find a way with better equipment, better resources to pick up that win.

Not only is the equipment isnt' equal, the drivers are not equal and neither is the tracks they go to. unlike playoffs in other sports, in racing, you race at different tracks that drivers are better at so one driver that dominates at a track has an advantage going in.

I think it should at least be three wins you have to get to in because anyone can win at Daytona or Dega. If you get one win and yoiu're in the chase over someone who deserves its, that's kinda lame.

**** this regime. 'Diminishing points racing-exactly what fans want'

**** you Brian!!!!!

My mom just called. The dog I grew up with ruptured a spleen and just got put down. What a day.

All jokes aside, if this makes these 'gentlemen' race harder, I'm all for it. Legitimacy doesn't mean much these days. Entertainment is everything.
