Pretty sure a chase hate thread pops up every week. Ryan Newman totally deserves a shot at the championship. :sarcasm:

Maybe not, but he played within the rules, he played smart and raced the whole chase the way he needed to, Gordon didn't, it sucks I know, I delt with it at Dega but it's the game now.
 
I understand your frustrations. I haven't liked this format from the get-go, but I've been pretty silent on it since it's pretty pointless to talk about how much it sucks because that's not going to change anything. I was pretty irritated when Jimmie was eliminated, but I've since come to accept that I don't really care about the championship as much as I care about watching my driver race and win.
 
Newman and Hamlin are eligible for a championship after this season. This is like a 6 and 10 team going to the Super Bowl.

Anyone who likes this system of determining a champion is a fool and must just have the attention span of a tic or something .
 
The Gordon fans are just salty because HE failed to make the championship round, someone didn't steal it from him. Funny if Gordon was securely in the chase and Newman knocked someone else out they would be all for it. Gordon fans are some of the biggest cry babies.
 
Why can't Gordon fans accept it? I'm a Jr Fan, i'm pissed when he got out, but i really don't care anymore, just accept it and move on

Would have loved to hear your reaction if Harvick got dumped in the final restart.

Excuse the **** out of me for being frustrated after a championship year gets foiled by a chicken**** points system and some chicken**** circumstances.
 
Brian has made a farce of out Nascar. They may as well just flip a coin to see who wins the championship.
 
It doesn't matter whether WE like the Chase or not -- or whether we think it's a joke.
This is NASCAR's game.

I don't have a driver in the hunt. I'm not a fan of the Chase. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to watch the race.
I can watch the racing and not care about the Championship.

And I understand the frustration of some fans, and I agree, it's a pain in the butt.
But don't give up on the racing.

bull****, Newman has had a consistently decent season and he played by the rules. Besides there have been 9-7 super bowl teams before, and the giants even won at 9-7.
 
If anyone wants to go back and read my previous posts over this past year ...

I have been completely and thoroughly disgusted with this POS playoff system well before the season began.

I have been planning to boycott the season finale since before the Chase began.

This Gordon fan is insulted that people are saying Gordon fans are suddenly mad because he didn't advance.

I can't. The whole reason I watch sports is for a potential championship at the end of the road. Otherwise it's pointless.
 
Guys, guys, this is nothing new. All moves are dirty unless your favorite makes them, everything bad that happens to your favorite is horse-s**t - it's all the same.
 
Chase has been awesome. Sad to see Gordon lose at the end.
Very exciting race. Hell, I forgot to check the football games like I normally do

Decent season my ass. Why don't you add up all the points from each race result and tell me who has ran well.

Harvick has had to win to move on two rounds now and I haven't cried once, too bad my driver is more clutch than yours.
 
Don't worry, once SHR forgets to attach a hose or something (again) next week maybe he'll be singing a different tune :D

The only thing keeping me excited was Gordon running great this season.

This is the 3rd time he's been robbed by the chase. 04, 07, and 14. He should be 7 time, but instead we get to watch Newman and Hamlin battle it out for the cup.

Yes, it's a joke.

What racing? The championship will likely be the only thing that is discussed next week.

I am boycotting next weekend so I do not have to see and listen to the the champion being crowned under this disgusting championship system.

Hey, the NFC south team could end up being that bad, think if they pick up in the playoffs and go on a tear and win it all.
