I'm thinkin so. Newman in the last turn bounces off Logano, this propels him past Harvick and Hamlin for the win. Nobody says nothing because...you know how Newman is.Go Ryan Newman!

I understand you being disappointed man but that's the joy/agony of playoff systems. I would've loved my Patriots to have gotten the perfect season but instead they lost the Super Bowl to a 9-7 team. It sucks, but that's the beauty of sports.

This year?
Apparently not.Too many variables in racing for that ish.
Yeah 01 and 02 I believe right? What I meant was these guys have all had shots and have blown it. And now that the format is the most convoluted, they are all equally and exclusively in the hunt.

The fact is these drivers survived through the pressue when the others didn't.. simple.
Nope... Jeff is 6th... Joey's 2nd lolYeah. He's been the class of the field all season long. Logano is a close second.
Jeff needs to start playing the game correctly next year. Wreck everyone in your way.
The finnese and giving people room is no longer valid, imo. Dog eat dog.
jeffy doesn't want to play that game. that's why he drives like mark.he doesn't like guys beating on him.Jeff needs to start playing the game correctly next year. Wreck everyone in your way.

Exactly , Ryan is cool under pressure . Ryan "Mr. Calm" Newman.
Jeff Gluck @jeff_gluck
Denny Hamlin says the only people who don't like this system are the ones who don't have a favorite driver in it.
Where the heck was Hamlin when this format was announced before the season began?
Spring Talladega.Probably didn't want to get fined for bad mouthing the format.
Also, when did Hamlin win a race this year? I thought he was winless.
Spring Talladega.
with that thinking we should just go back to the way it was before the chase, and we have no chase.I would be fine with the elimination format but not with points being completely reset after each round. Wins should each count for a point like the old chase. It would prevent a car like the 31 that has 4 top 5's and no wins from being able to advance just because nobody wrecked him.
Kenseth and Kurt Busch also won championshipsCorrect, but the same can be said again for a lot of the drivers. How many drivers racing now have won a Championship? Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, and Keselowski. Are they the only four who ever deserve a shot at going for the championship? Hell we can toss Johnson and Keselowski out because they won it in the chase! but they did win it when it was a little bit harder so let's put them right back in there. So that's the four every year! Until Gordon retires and I guess we go with 3 people in the last race and not four.
That's right, totally slipped my mind.Kenseth and Kurt Busch also won championships

Newman and Hamlin are eligible for a championship after this season. This is like a 6 and 10 team going to the Super Bowl.
Anyone who likes this system of determining a champion is a fool and must just have the attention span of a tic or something .
What racing? The championship will likely be the only thing that is discussed next week.
I am boycotting next weekend so I do not have to see and listen to the the champion being crowned under this disgusting championship system.
It is indeed sad in a way. Brad had a great year.I'm glad Brad K. didn't get into The Championship Round. I think he still has some growing up to do before he can represent the sport of Stock Car racing as a NASCAR Champ again.
Although, he was the driver with the most wins this year, so that is kind of sad.
So Kevin doesn't deserve to win the championship? I don't understand.
I was saying its just weird how it worked out, all of these guys have been contenders at one point or another and couldn't get it done. Most notably probably Hamlin's meltdown a couple years ago... And now these veterans who have always came up short are now contenders the first year of the more diluted format. Just odd how it worked out is all.
