The Midnight Rider
That tire had bad intentions, thank god it missed the drivers
Truly, could have been huge. we'll count that one up as pretty lucky.

We’ll take it and move on with a HUGE sigh of reliefTruly, could have been huge. we'll count that one up as pretty lucky.
I agree, it's piling up to be a bit much, but it doesn't mean it isn't the right direction overall for the race and series. I suspect a lot of the drivers are conditioned to race with the belief the cars are as stable as they were previously. Adjustments will be made over time.
I know there is a device they put on Indycars after that tire killed those fans at Charlotte that is supposed to keep the tire near the car in an accident.Re-read your post. Maybe think about it for a moment and try again.
Those tires are matched perfect and staggered special. My buddy HarryRossi said “**** these tires on the low lane”
...and it ain't over yet. Hopefully they race to the checkers from here.6 cautions is too much crashing?
These drivers are giving their all every lap, several spins are expected from these cars IMO.
Biggest balls in the field.Alex Rossi with big time balls on the outside. Whoa.
I’ve always followed him since he was close to being an F1driver, an incredible talentI have just become a Rossi fan.
Rossi even ran half-way decent in those Marussia sh!tboxes. Dude has enough talent to win a world championship IMOGunther Steiner thinks Americans aren't ready enough for F1 smh.
Guy beat Sirotkin and Gasly in GP2. Finished only behind Vandoorne! C'mon.
They tether the suspension. Pretty hard to tether a wheel since it's rotating. Probably broke center out of wheel with wall contact.I know there is a device they put on Indycars after that tire killed those fans at Charlotte that is supposed to keep the tire near the car in an accident.
Love how Rossi and Elliott's NAPA schemes match for today's races

To be fair I wondered how the tires keep coming off I thought they had tethers, thanks for the educationThey tether the suspension. Pretty hard to tether a wheel since it's rotating. Probably broke center out of wheel with wall contact.
Lets hope Elliott gets as close to the front as Rossi has today.Love how Rossi and Elliott's NAPA schemes match for today's races
He was awesome when I was in grade school.....driving for Team Kool Green. It’s a testament to him he’s still getting it done 20something odd years laterTK.
Eternal fountain of youth. **** man.
I would love to see the name Andretti or Rahul in victory lane just for old times sake.
They should go with the F1 halo.Damn, it's good thing that tire didn't come back on the track that could have been bad.
I suppose technically you are correct. All 4 corners of cars suspension IS tethered to chassis. But if wheel breaks it's a missle. But that WAS an odd impact angle for an IndyCar.To be fair I wondered how the tires keep coming off I thought they had tethers, thanks for the education
I’d be be super happy if Marco got it done, I still believe in the guy even though most fans have somewhat abandoned him. But my heart belongs to Rossi today, I’m rooting for him here on out todayI would love to see the name Andretti or Rahul in victory lane just for old times sake.

An absolute missle, that was a scary sequenceI suppose technically you are correct. All 4 corners of cars suspension IS tethered to chassis. But if wheel breaks it's a missle. But that WAS an odd impact angle for an IndyCar.
