Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

YEP! TN was about as lame as it gets. I did watch the whole thing - but afterwards I said that I would never watch another Will Farrell movie. And I haven't!

I've never watched a Will Farrell movie and never intend to.

People that don't find Will Ferrell funny are people that I would never want to hang out with.

If I am drunk or stoned (which is not unusual for me), he is high-larious! Otherwise, I would prefer to watch grass grow...

Step Brothers and Anchorman make me laugh every time. They actually get better on repeated viewings because of the way they layer it.

Boats and Hoes!

Pretty funny slap at the gangster singing 'bout my dick crowd. "Deadliest catch without the crabs". Silly and funny.

It's not for everyone. You either get it or you don't.

Put me down for don't I haven't enjoyed one of his movies. And honestly, I refuse to watch TN. Anyway I hope the weather stays away today for the Nationwide race, and tomorrow for that matter.

I thought TN was weak. But oh my god, Anchorman and Step Brothers are funny as hell.

What movies or performers do you find funny?
I normally do not watch comedy because I don't think there is any quality humor coming out of Hollywood anymore. I quit watching Saturday Night Live after the cast including Gilda Radner, Jane Curtain, Chevy Chase, etc.
The movie Hangover was kinda funny but not outstanding. I just find the Will Farrell type of humor idiotic and humorless.

See I think there is great new stuff out there. The Judd Apatow, Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill, Jason Segal type stuff is hilarious IMO. I loved the new 21 Jump Street movie. I thought Horrible Bosses was funny as hell, too. Get Him to the Greek, Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin...I could go on an on.

I prefer drama, thrillers, scary movies. I'd rather watch something like the Jason Bourne movies than a comedy anyday.

The last movie I saw in a theatre was Alice In Wonderland.
I will probably go see Dark Shadows cause I love what Johnny Depp and Tim Burton do.

Oh helllllllll no. That was in the parking lot at Chicagoland last fall. Dude was parked near us. I saw the owner and of course he had on the full replica team jacket, hat and sunglasses with a DH t-shirt. Go big or stay home, right? LOL

Time for them to revisit the new fuel can design? Too many teams are not getting these tanks filled. From what I'm hearing in some drivers and crew chief interviews it sounds like many times after a pit stop, when they weigh the cans, they sill contain fuel that never got in the the cars tank. I'd imagine that this is something that they're going to revisit soon.

i think they need to learn to work with them, the Safety aspect of the new fuel cans far outweighs the problems some teams have. No more fuel spillage on every stop, no more fuel dumping as the cars leave their stall it's really cut down on the fire danger in the pits. I've noticed only certain teams seem to be having the filling issue's but the fuel cans and valves are identical for each team? Wonder why there's a problem for some?

They're probably safer on paper, just like the pieces of crap that I have to use to fill my lawn mowers these days, but I have seen spills since they started using these things. I think it was last week that I saw a gas man pull the first fuel can off of the car only to have fuel dump all over the pit on each side of the wall. Which team it was escapes me but I remember my wife and I commenting on it. I thought the whole pit area around that car was ready to light up.

I'll have to go back and look up the anatomy of the new fuel can vs. the old one but I think that they are hitting some kind of air lock that prevents these cans from dumping properly at times. Not all the time but enough that it is causing problems.

I saw on the news once people in NY were saying that Nascar had no business in NY. Talk about not welcome....

Actually, I felt the same way! The Awards Banquet at the Waldorf never seemed appropriate to me.

And BTW, FU, NY!!

Dale Jr has scored a series-high 6 consecutive top-10s and placed in the top 15 in each of last 10 races.

Kasey Kahne has scored four consecutive top-10s, second only to Dale Jr (6) in that category entering Darlington.

Sounds like Kahne may be getting ready to win one and Earnhardt may be due for something totally the opposite
