Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

I know this is completely random and pretty much irrelevant but I was going to jayski.. I opened the new tab and forgot to click the address bar and typed "jay".... jayski was the first suggestion on conduit.. second was jay-z... I think its pretty awesome that a NASCAR site has more hits and searches than Jay z does.

First off, Conduit is spyware and you need to follow the steps listed on Youtube to get rid of it as well all of it's additional spyware components. That is some nasty software that slows your entire computer down.

Secondly, Conduit tracks you and displays sites that you've been to first.

And C, get rid of Conduit and all of it's components. You'll need to edit the registry but if you follow the directions on Youtube and Google you can get rid of it but be prepared to spend a few hours.

Damn.. I did think it was odd that it didn't go to a blank tab like it usually does.

Thanks for the heads up.

No problem, man.
I have had to remove it from 10-12 PC's where I work.

Are you on windows 7 using IE11?
Im not even sure lol.. never payed attention to it.. this computer is a laptop my girlfriend bought before we were together. I think its windows 7 but I don't even know what IE11 means lol

IE 11, means Internet Explorer 11 --- the 11th update of the browser Internet Explorer

I prefer Chrome.
I am a firefox guy(even use mobile Firefox on my phone), but damn it the mozilla folks need to find a way to make Firefox less memory intensive. It sucks up alot.

Internet explorer does anything i need to do with my laptop... and i don't have to polish it.:D

I just find it funny that there are people who think its a big deal to wait 2-3 seconds after clicking for a page to load.... Anyone remember having a 3.86 with windows 3.1?

Your behind the times when my phone loads webpages faster than your PC. Growing up with AOL dialup & having a faster time with DOS, I cherish my google chrome & GUI OS.

LMFAO! I missed this:
(Talking about Biffle and Edwards, via Jayski) note the source, talkin about "old DW" ;):D
UPDATE: Old DW may have just spilled the beans on where Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle will wind up next season. And if Darrell Waltrip's body language and hinting is any indication, neither driver will be back with Roush Fenway Racing. During Sunday's prerace show on FOX, anchor Chris Myers asked Waltrip if the two free agents are leaving RFR, and if so, where will their new home in 2015 be. The first part of Waltrip's reply wasn't totally surprising. But then Waltrip dropped an obvious bombshell. Reaching over to put his right hand on the shoulder of younger brother Michael, who just happens to own Michael Waltrip Racing, DW's body language and then verbiage said it all - and left Michael staring straight ahead almost in shock. "And Greg Biffle will go to some two-car team that maybe one time had a third car," Darrell Waltrip said. In an attempt to quickly try and cover up what his older brother just said - and obviously deflect that scenario (probably because MWR isn't ready to make a potential announcement yet) - Michael gave his take on it. "Uhhhhhh, I think Carl goes and Greg stays," Michael Waltrip said. "I think the Biff stays at Roush, he's going to be the veteran, the anchor to that rookie lineup for the young guys that are going to race at Roush. So, he goes, the other cat stays."(NBC Sports)
AND: Another week and more speculation about the future of Roush Fenway Racing. The garage was filled with talk about what current veterans Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle will do come season's end as both have RFR contracts that expire this year. Neither driver nor RFR officials had any official comment but there seems to be some momentum to the scenario both drivers will depart and Edwards to Joe Gibbs Racing and Biffle to Michael Waltrip Racing are the leading rumors.(Motor Racing Network)(6-2-2014)

Johnson had off-season hernia surgery: Six-time Sprint Cup champion #48-Jimmie Johnson had hernia surgery three days after the 2013 awards banquet in December. The surgery, which Johnson revealed prior to Sunday's race at Dover, kept him out of the car for a test at Charlotte Motor Speedway the week following the banquet but he was back training 10 days after the Dec. 9 surgery. "I had bilateral hernias, one on each side, and then a third one in my belly button, so I was very lucky to go in and have all three fixed," Johnson said Sunday after his win at Dover International Speedway. "It wasn't a sports hernia. It was something over time and getting older that something like 60 percent of men near the age of 40 have these and don't know. But I saw one midseason, a little protrusion in my skin and went and had it checked out, and they're like, 'You've got a couple years to get it fixed,' so I figured I'd get it fixed sooner rather than later and went in right after the banquet." Johnson, who mentioned the surgery in a prerace interview on Fox Sports, said he wasn't trying to keep the surgery a secret and that many in the garage area knew about it. He said it was a laparoscopic procedure, which utilizes small incisions and small instruments with cameras that allow for a less invasive surgery.(Sporting News)(6-2-2014)

Lotsa teams could use Biffle, Waltrip is one of them and I bet Biffle has had a few offers from other teams.

Someone on the local Kijiji is selling off Jimmie Johnson collectables...must be trying to cash in. LOL
